Today marks the 81st anniversary of #VEDay
1st Buckinghamshire Battalion, Oxf & Bucks Light Infantry, arrived in Delft, Holland, on 5 May 1945 and received a hero's welcome in the newly-liberated city.
They were part of 'T' Force in the latter part of the war in Europe
