Interesting softball note. In Friday’s 13-2 win over Woodrow Wilson 3 Independence juniors eclipsed the 100 hit mark for their careers. Nicole Kester now has 101, Riley Adkins has 101 and Ashleigh Sexton has 100. Congratulations.

@softball_IHS_ takes game 2 from @GoLadyRaiders18, 6-1. Ashleigh Sexton fires a 1-hitter, hits two doubles, hits a MONSTER blast for a home run and drives in 2 runs. Sexton had 2 doubles and 3rbi in game 1 also. Now that is a day's work. #wvprepsb
