My best feature is that I'm blindingly intelligent for about 3 minutes per day. I don't get to choose which minutes. They are not consecutive. 🐈 #RadResident
The older i get, the more i realize that someone making time for you is one of the clearest signs they care. Everyone is busy. Everyone has responsibilities and their own battles to fight. So when someone consistently chooses to spend their time with you, checks on you, and makes space for you in their life, it means something. time is one thing we can never get back, and people don't give it away lightly.
How am I supposed to believe anyone or anything is too important when we casually throw around words like DISPENSABLE ARTERY in Interventional Radiology
Once in a Jumah Khutbah on relationship advice, I advised men to take their wives out for dinner once a week as a way to strengthen the relationship.
After the khutbah, some young men approached me and asked me, "Is it wajib or mustahab to take your wife out once a week?"
I responded, "Neither, this is not Fiqh. This is just generic marriage advice."
They looked at me all confused. They could not think outside of Fiqh rulings. This is what Fiqh maximalism is doing to people's brains.
NOT EVERY LITTLE THING NEEDS A FIQH RULING!
I still find it unrealistic because when you’re a DOCTOR and want kids later but not at a certain point in residency, you practice contraception like if doctors cant plan these things, no one can 😭 why’s she acting like she just found out how pregnancies work 😭
dr bahu the first pakistani show i have seen where woman is shown to have a difficult relationship with her pregnancy because of personal ambition who is not the villain
Istg i don’t understand what drives desi men to hate their life partners, people they break bread and share a bed with, so fkn much. Why do y’all hate your wives and want to change them so much. Hijab karti hai to na karay, nai karti tou karay. Buss apni marzi na karay. Just why
@bakhtawrfaisal What? I’ve been popping a Synflex every time I have dysmenorrhea for the past ten years. On the recommendation of one of my colleagues who was a gynae trainee. Which gynaecs have been telling you this, ajeeb
Like my dad says, kharbooza churri py giray ya churri kharboozay py, nuqsan kharboozay ka hi hota hai, kharbooza being the bikes. And yet they act like they have 9 extra lives, with no mirrors on the bike and no self control just zigzagging their way through the road
Please raise your daughters to have hobbies, interests, and academics...so when they become adults and middle-aged women they have something to talk about besides a man.
There is no real coffee culture in pakistan. It’s more of an aesthetics culture. You don’t see people grabbing a coffee on their way to work in the morning. Instead people enjoy it in the evening for photos. It’s not a necessity but a fashion statement.
Delivered by C‑section from her dead mother's body. 23 years old. 'israel' bombed and killed her. Buried them under rubble. The baby girl was named after her. Doctors gave her a 50/50 chance of survival. She died 5 days later and was buried next to her mum.
Check the date.
@dolantumpu You will find doctors from all nationalities and ethnicities sharing anecdotes about human stupidity, i can name multiple books like that. And a 20 year old isn’t kid enough to not know basic anatomy. Health illiteracy is real and that was the point, no mocking here. So gtfo
Once had a 20 year old come in for one undescended testicle and when I asked if he had any workup done before he legit went NAI MUJHAY LAGA SABKA EK HI HOTA HAI WO TOU ABHI AMMI NAY KAHA JA K CHECK KARWAO BACHPAN MEI EK NAI THA 🫠
During my Urology rotation i examined a man and it turned out to be a case of undescended testis but the shocking thing was that couple was trying for a baby for 15 years and he was sending his wife to multiple gynecologists during that time believing it was her who was infertile
@hugo29016 That was the point of the original tweet, and it reminded me of a case i encountered myself and found shocking because most matric students who study basic biology know about human anatomy. It’s called sharing an anecdote, stfu about patient privacy unless there r names involved
