We discover and impart scientific knowledge related to soil, water and environmental science in urban, agricultural and natural ecosystems. @UF @UF_IFAS
Florida's soil archive has a new home!
@SoilWaterSci moved more than 8k samples collected during @USDA_NRCS soil survey efforts from the 1960s into a larger workspace with more room for storage, research & student learning while preserving an invaluable scientific resource.
The Water Institute is excited to announce Ashley Hennessey from @SoilWaterSci & Sam Howley from @UFSNRE as the 2026-2027 Water Institute Ambassadors! Their passion, skills, & experience will be critical in fostering a student community.
