Constantly apologizing, over-explaining, flinching at normal tones, fearing conflict, struggling to set boundaries, people-pleasing, chronic self-doubt, hypervigilance, feeling unworthy, needing reassurance, and believing others' emotions are always your responsibility all can scream emotional childhood abuse.
