In the 1890s a cattle plague came off a ship into the Horn of Africa, and within a decade it had eaten the Serengeti alive.

Rinderpest. It killed cattle, and it killed everything shaped like cattle. Wildebeest and buffalo, gone in their millions. At the low point the great herd had crashed to around three hundred thousand animals.

Here is what a landscape does when you take the grazers off it. Nobody was left to eat the grass. It grew tall, died standing, dried to tinder, and every dry season fire tore through up to eighty per cent of the Serengeti. The soil bled its carbon into the sky. The green cradle of life you picture from every wildlife documentary spent the first half of the twentieth century as a net source of carbon, burning itself to the ground on repeat, because the animals that held it together were dead.

Then, in the 1950s, a vaccine. They put it in the cattle, the reservoir dried up, and rinderpest fell apart.

The grazers came back. Three hundred thousand wildebeest became over a million, and the grass met a wall of mouths again. The dead fuel got eaten instead of burned. The fires shrank. The trees returned. Birds followed the trees. The soil started banking carbon instead of coughing it up. A scorched carbon source turned back into the teeming carbon sink the whole world now flies in to photograph.

The animals did not visit the thriving Serengeti. The animals built it.

Rinderpest was wiped off the earth for good in 2011. Only the second disease in history we have ever fully eradicated. The first was smallpox.

Now set that against the pitch of the moment. That the way to heal the planet is to strip the grazing animals off the grasslands and hand the land back to nature.

We ran that experiment already. By accident. For fifty years.

Nature, left to itself without the herds, set itself on fire.

We think of this evil as Marxism. In reality, Marxism is nothing more or less than the current instantiation of a much more ancient evil: possession by the envious and hateful spirit that drove Cain to murder his brother Abel.

The great book of Genesis thus portrays mankind as riven by an eternal fratricidal conflict.

Those who reject genuine sacrifice become embittered by their subsequent failure ("rejection by God").

Instead of repenting and changing, they turn to revenge.

And who do they target? Those who strive to do well and offer what is best.

I can't believe how much wisdom the author of Genesis 4 compressed into that story's few sentences. You might even come to believe that God Himself had a hand in it.

Truly: it's uncanny. The first two human beings born into history are, respectively, a good, honest productive man and his brother, who allows himself to be consumed by resentment and the desire to destroy.

WOAH 🚨 Investigative journalist Catherine Herridge reviewed the documents just released by the Trump Admin on election integrity and finds CIA emails showing they were working against Donald Trump to aid China and the Democrats in the 2020 election

“I've been digging into the documents already and I found this November 2020 email, and it specifically states, it's a conversation among intelligence officials, it specifically states that they have, quote, deliberately massaged one of our pending PDBs. That's the president's daily brief. To avoid any direct links to the election”

“This was a massive effort, what they call a multi-domain operation. That means trade, it means diplomacy, it means open-source information, it means social media. So all the levers of power China had to influence the US election”

And our own CIA worked to make sure the r President wasn’t aware of any of this information, they literally removed it from his daily briefing

“In the summer of 2020, as we're heading into the election, in the intelligence community there were indicators of this Chinese influence operation. Influence operations means that you're trying to affect the outcome of how people vote or their sentiment about a presidential candidate.
It's different than an interference operation, which is penetrating voting rolls and voter systems. And this whistleblower was raising the alarm about the influence operation, and then suddenly it all was suppressed”

“In some of their reports, there were in officials' own handwriting that they wanted everything out that could help President Trump in his reelection. So there was clear evidence of political and personal bias”

They wanted to remove EVERYTHING that could possibly help Trump win reelection

Again, literally treason

Also if you remember awhile back, a former CIA officer named Pedro Israel Orta who worked at the CIA during the Trump Administration said the CIA didn’t even recognize him as the President, they wouldn’t even put his picture up on the wall which was customary for all Presidents

They were actively working against him
