Barely 25 minutes after takeoff from Lagos, the pilot calmly announced that we would be returning to Lagos. Returning ke? He cited "operational concerns" or something along that line.
At that moment, nobody needed any further explanation. Everyone immediately began to call on whatever or whoever they believed in. It was also obvious from the way the aircraft took off that something wasn't quite right.
I was genuinely scared, but I had to keep a brave face because I was seated between two women. Somebody had to look composed.
Then my mind started racing. What would happen to my car? My money? My room? Deji & Tegbe would definitely turn my room upside down after few days. These guys have access to my cards too, they would finish my money before I even got to heaven.
Thankfully, we landed safely back in Lagos. When another aircraft was brought in, some passengers simply refused to board again. Once bitten, twice shy. Eni ori yo o dile.
Bobo no go die unless to ba darugbo. Not now. Not soon. By God's grace. 🙏🏽
