fear of missing out
- everyone's making it except me
I started 2021 with less than 3k and ended it with nothing. in "the greatest bull market of all time."
a market with 80% daily candles on alts, 10x setups every single day and multi billion dollar meme coin runs.
opportunity was never the problem. my approach, my mindset and my execution were.
what can you do?
- learn how compounding actually works, world ETF
- read the psychology of money by morgan housel to build your core mindset
- create an "if..., then..." rule set for your trading framework
- define the core principles that guide every decision you make
- stay consistent. profitability comes from studying market dynamics every single week. onchain, every single day. basically learning by doing.
- set up the right tools. use tradingview for watchlists across crypto, stocks and commodities so you get a quick market overview every morning. if you want to go further, add something like bloomberg to stay on top of financial news and macro.
- track your transactions from day one with a tool like blockpit. when you off ramp to your bank, you'll need to prove your trading history. clean, taxed money in your account is the best feeling there is.
... there's a lot more to it. I'll keep sharing as much as I can here.
it's about building a framework, clear rules, core principles, the right mindset. timing beats time. clean setups only. cash is king.
there will always be another narrative, another bull market, another setup. build the foundation first.
the drive to make it matters, that inner drive when you come from nothing, I had it too. just don't let it push you into emotional decisions, like sizing up or rotating into something else because another coin ran before yours. instead, cut losers and add to winners with intention, backed by strong narratives and momentum.
turning profitable was one of the hardest things I've ever done. looking back, what made the difference was protecting what I made. moving profits to the bank took the emotion out of it and gave me a fixed core size for my positions. the market never runs out of opportunities. traders run out of capital bc most cant control their emotional decision making while comparing to others.
take profits in uptrends. let them sit. stop rotating like a maniac. move with intention, stay calm and trust what years of watching the market have taught you.
stop comparing yourself to traders with a decade of screen time.
earn it.
Prioritize sleep, especially as a trader.
Less sleep, worse decisions. No trade is worth 2 hours of rest. Fresh mind beats any setup. learned the hard way.
The capital building phase is tough and trading late into high liquidity hours is part of it, but don't overtrade. Breaking rules and trading emotionally almost always happens when you're running on empty.
Everyone wants to make it as fast as possible and a lot of people know that inner restlessness of not missing a move. I get it. But don't let your health suffer for it.
There will be always trading opportunities, for the rest of your life.
Saw someone's $DASH trade only for me to open it up and see this ππ
I had the set up all planned. Totally forgot about it. This is not the first time I'm experiencing this.
How do y'all keep in check with all your setups? I need suggestions please.
It has to be win rate. With large sample size like over 3 months.
Being able to keep a 70% win rate or above over the course of at least 90 days puts you up there with the top 10%
how do you define the best trader?
is it overall PNL?
win rate?
where they started vs where they end?
consistency?
if itβs all the above, how do you weight each

My goal this year is to renovate 50 schools and equip them with essential learning materials.
Next year, insha Allah, we will expand our impact into the healthcare sector.
