@JBolath No one who voted for her thinks this. She couldn’t party, and I’m sure she didn’t want to concede without checking with her legal team to make sure it was the right decision. It wouldn’t have been appropriate to have stayed.
@imrjcyka@Shibtoken Unless you were actually in Bangkok, it’s hard to want to buy tickets for something that hasn’t supplied any concrete details on what the event was actually going to entail. Holding a conference is a huge undertaking, you can’t throw it together at the last minute.
@CryptoWendyO Harris. Because she supports women’s reproductive freedom and she hasn’t supported things like storming the capital. Harris, because she’s younger and smarter and kinder. Harris because she doesn’t idolize Putin or Kim Jong Un.
@TeslaBoomerMama@elonmusk In 2016 he was surrounded by people who were trying to keep his behaviour from being too insane. This time he’s going to support himself with the 2025 paper yahoos who will just be yes men and enablers. Different scenario.
@AnamCara111@CryptoWendyO It’s hard to look at, but yes. Nature is not always kind. With no quality of life or imminent death, sometimes, in extreme cases a late term abortion might be the least bad outcome. You might not have enough information to make that decision until later than anyone would like.
@CryptoWendyO She said that she supported RvW. What was the policy they followed for the last 50 years? It’s pretty nuanced on when late term abortions should be considered. Difficult to put out a hard deadline when maybe a fetus is very medically compromised at 7 months, for ex. Case by case.
