In September of 2007 I was working an NSA watch floor. During the ‘hand down’ brief (shift change) some folks working a MENA shop informed us that Israel had destroyed a covert nuke site in Syria. They’d used electronic jammers to fly silent and destroy the site in the dead of night. The Syrians had the site bulldozed over before the sun came because they did not want to acknowledge their violation of the Non-Proliferation Treaty. Israel allowed it to stay silent because they wanted to avoid conflict from spreading in the region or possibly further. This is now all declassified. Google it.

Israel does stuff like that….A LOT. Now, 20 years later, they have become a technological superpower that punches further above its weight than any country its size in human history. To reject Israel as an ally would be the height of stupidity. China sure hopes we view them as an enemy, that I can tell you.

Even Arab leaders admit it.

Everyone is sharing the Bill Clinton clip where he describes how Yasser Arafat rejected a generous peace offer at Camp David that would have given the Palestinians a state on 96 percent of the West Bank, land swaps, and a capital in East Jerusalem. Clinton says Arafat lied to him and that the Palestinian leadership never actually wanted a two-state solution. They wanted to destroy Israel. It’s a video often shared by people like @VividProwess, and it’s an important one for people to see.

Of course, critics immediately dismiss it. They claim Clinton is biased or he’s pro-Israel. They’ll tell you that you cannot trust the American perspective.

Ok, so let us set that aside.

Now watch this.

In this powerful interview, former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, a major Arab leader who was directly involved in negotiations, says exactly the same thing from the Arab side. He talks about the Mena House Conference in Cairo as well as the Camp David negotiations of 1978. All failed because of the Palestinians repeatedly rejecting any offer. The Oslo accords were signed but because Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad were not involved, they derailed the accords and any chance for peace by initiating 4 years of terrorist suicide attacks in Israel. Then came the second Camp David negotiations in 2000 which Arafat agreed to, then rejected and instead initiated the Second Intifada.

Mubarak explains how the Palestinians refused to even participate in the Mena House conference of 1977. He describes repeated opportunities they were given, including a detailed document that called for Israeli withdrawal from the Samaria, Judea and Gaza, security arrangements during a transitional period, and other major concessions. The Israelis were willing to negotiate on difficult issues like who would control security. The Palestinians, according to Mubarak, kept saying no and wasting chance after chance.

He speaks with clear frustration about how for decades the Palestinian side has rejected peace initiatives and realistic compromises.

The video further shows footage from the PLO representative in 1977, as well as old footage of Egyptian president Sadat who was involved in the Mena House and first Camp David negotiations of 1978.

This perhaps is far more impactful than Clinton’s account because it is not a Western or Israeli voice. It is prominent Arab leaders who lived the negotiations, who represented the broader Arab world, and who had zero incentive to defend Israel.

When leaders from both sides of the table describe the same pattern of Palestinian rejectionism and violence, it becomes much harder to dismiss as bias.

The pattern is clear across decades and across different voices… generous offers, repeated refusals, and continued demands for everything while giving nothing in return.

This is not ancient history. It is the core reason the conflict continues today.

Why Can’t Notre Dame Find an American English Professor? University Turns to H-1B Visa Instead | Margaret Flavin, The Gateway Pundit

Why can’t the University of Notre Dame find an American citizen to teach English?

Apparently, that is such a difficult task that the Catholic university, located in Indiana, is turning to foreign workers via the H-1 B visa to fill the role.

The College Fix reports that the university has filed a “Notice of Intent to Hire,” signaling it plans to hire a professor of English under H1-B for the $87,000+ a year position.

Apparently, foreigners are better at teaching English.

That must be why @NotreDame is looking to hire a non-American for an English professor role.

Per The College Fix, other jobs the university says it must fill by hiring non-Americans include “an associate librarian ($96,000 per year), a marketing program analytics manager ($85,000 per year), and a ‘program coordinator for student success’ ($47,000 per year).”

The Gateway Pundit reported that two other Indiana universities, Purdue University and Indiana University, are both using H-1B visas to fill roles, despite Indiana’s wealth of qualified American candidates.

The program was originally intended to bring in temporary employees with highly specialized skills that few Americans possessed.

However, as a White House proclamation states, the H-1B program “has been deliberately exploited to replace, rather than supplement, American workers.”

According to the American Chamber of Commerce, the official intent of the H1B visa is to help employers temporarily hire foreign professionals for specialty occupations that require specialized knowledge.

Does teaching English at an American University require ‘specialized knowledge’?

As The Gateway Pundit reported, the data shows that the program has largely become, instead, a cheap source of skilled labor for companies, taking jobs, including ‘white collar’ jobs, from U.S. citizens and suppressing wages.

When he returned to office, President Trump cracked down on the H1B visa program, requiring companies to pay $100,000 to sponsor a worker.

It is concerning that the University, which boasts thousands of its own graduates with English degrees, can not find even one of its own alumni to fill the role.

Because you are a former Royal Air Force general, let me put the reason for @PeteHegseth’s D-Day speech in terms you will recognize.

In 2005, Boeing hired James McNerney, a disciple of Jack Welch’s school of cost-cutting, as CEO. He later said, “When people say I changed the culture of Boeing, that was the intent, so that it’s run like a business rather than a great engineering firm.”

The results were catastrophic.

As Eric Ries documented in his book Incorruptible, management focused more and more on financial engineering while the engineers inside Boeing watched one program after another unfold with growing horror. We have their internal records because of the investigations into the 737 MAX crashes.

Engineering raised the alarm. Management’s answer never changed: costs, deadlines, stock price. The number on the slide had become the mission, and the airplane underneath it had become an afterthought.

That is the trap. Stock price was never the product. It was a proxy for the product, a stand-in for whether Boeing built aircraft people could trust their lives to. McNerney optimized the proxy and destroyed the thing it was supposed to measure. Two planes full of families paid for the difference.

One Boeing employee later confessed, “I still haven’t been forgiven by God for the covering up I did last year.” Psychologists call that moral injury: the inner damage a person carries from knowing they did harm by saying nothing.

What does this have to do with DEI, migration, and the agendas being pushed across the EU and UK?

Everything. They run on the same machinery.

A minority arrest rate is not justice. It is a proxy for justice, a stand-in for whether a city is safe and its law applied equally. Starmer’s government optimized the proxy.

Officers who flagged the cost of a pivot to DEI, the victims who came forward, the communities who watched predators walk, all of it was feedback, and all of it was waved off because the statistic was moving in the politically correct direction. The number improved. Justice did not. Just as Boeing’s engineers were told costs, deadlines, stock price, Britain’s police were told the quota, the optics, the politics.

Welch chased ROI. Starmer chases DEI. John Kerry chases CO2. All ignored the people in front of them telling the truth. Both mistook the dashboard for the world.

I too want safe minorities, higher share prices and a cleaner planet. We all do. That is exactly the point. McNerney wanted a higher stock price too. The disaster was not the goal. The disaster was measuring the proxy and calling it the product.

Last year, touring colleges in London, a family friend asked me a version of the question Boeing’s own engineers asked each other before the crashes. Theirs was, “Would you put your family on a MAX simulator-trained aircraft?” The answer was no. Mine was simpler: would I put my daughter on streets policed by a two-tier system, where carrying pepper spray to defend herself is a crime but the men she fears walk free?

Which brings us to Hegseth.

This is not the usual venue for these arguments, and I understand the objection. I endorse his saying it here anyway, because it needs to be said, and because the people who most need to hear it are the ones who have learned to look at the dashboard instead of out the window.

You know the cost of silence better than I do. The veteran who watched Afghan allies rape children on our own bases and was told to stand down, to protect the relationship. They enforced the rules of engagement because those were being measured by you. That man is carrying moral injury for the rest of his life. Some of them did not survive it. Too many witnessed a dual tiered system - US/UK troops held accountable for honest ROE mistakes while Taliban used women and kids as shields - and paid the ultimate price for saying nothing.

This is not the ideal place to bring up politics but is absolutely the right place to prevent further moral injury.

There were 3 Indian guys at my workplace 5 years ago. All capable. One very good. Better than me.

Now I'm flooded with Indians and they're not only not good, there of negative value. They don't know how to do anything above a rudimentary cave man level. The programming equivalent of banging a rock against a piece of wood.

I'd fire at least 5 of them today, not for any reason having to do with "deserve." I don't care if we pay money to people who don't "deserve" it. God bless. Enjoy your free money. She not only gave the animal probation with no bond over a year ago after he assaulted a police officer, a warrant for his arrest was out to no avail.
The murderer was just walking the streets of Norwood for a year until he finally was arrested for the murder of a woman that was just trying to make money for her 2 kids and her ill father.
This is an absolutely heartbreaking and infuriating case. Alyssa “Ally” Hill, a 27-year-old single mother of two young children who was also caring for her ill father, was brutally stabbed to death on June 2, 2026, while working her shift at the Skyline Chili on Montgomery Road in Norwood, Ohio, during the lunch rush.

This is inversion so callous it's hard to believe.

The Holocaust had a survival rate of about 30%. Millions of people disappeared from European cities and towns over several years. Everybody knew because it was happening all around them.

Gaza has a survival rate, despite the worst and most deadly and horrible periods of the war, of 97%.

All the dead Jews were noncombatants. A large percentage of the dead Gazans were combatants.

And the Jews of Europe, even as their millennia-old civilization was being systematically wiped out, wanted nothing from the societies that surrounded them except to be allowed to live in peace.

Gaza's leadership of religious fanatics, meanwhile, wants every last Israeli dead and gone, is willing to fight to the last Gazan to achieve that aim, has said so publicly and worked for decades to blow up every peace attempt -- and even now believes that Gaza's destruction would be a worthwhile sacrifice to lay on the altar of Israel's destruction, because their god told them so.

So Israelis can reasonably believe, given those features of the Gaza war that aren't true about any genocide ever, and were pretty much the opposite of what was happening in the Holocaust, that Gaza's suffering is a bad and painful war, but not remotely a genocide.

But the point of it all, of course, is not to analyze Gaza, but specifically to lump it together with the Holocaust -- to cast the Jews as the new Nazis.

The only reason this person would dare to make such an insanely ahistorical and immoral parallel is because this is the heart of the bigoted propaganda campaign in which he enthusiastically participates: The point of it all is to make the Jews into the Nazis.

A culture that obsessed about Jews being evil and was then shocked by the Holocaust into obsessing about dead Jews as the apotheosis of righteous victimhood is now obsessively engaged in knocking Jews off that moral pedestal they themselves put them on.

That's why they don't care one whit about Hamas massacres of Gazans, about genocidal wars in Syria or Yemen (even when they've funded and armed the sides), about flotilla activists currently held by the Libyans...literally nothing triggers a response except Jews.

They still, even after all these generations, no matter what else is happening in the world or in their own societies, can't stop thinking about Jews.

And as we Jews learned in the 1940s -- the actual, historical 1940s, not the weird fantasies conjured up by these bigots -- a whole society can be in the grip of a callous, destructive bigotry and still believe it is true and righteous.
