@joannacary @SOLE_Essex @wmarybeard Essex County Council don’t have a good reputation for valuing books - since 2007/2008 Colchester Library’s book stock dropped by 60,000 books - this closure of the history room is more of the same book cull. The dedicated staff in the History room - they’ll be gone too.
