When an artist shares their ocs to the world, that doesn't mean their audience gets to do whatvr they want with those ocs
If an artist expresses boundaries ppl should respect it
(ik this is common sense but too many ppk keep doing ts it's rlly pmo)
so what happened to Neo is horrible
this is a new phishing scam specifically for Vgen (i got these from the Vgen reddit) a user will put a link in the reference section which leads to this and its basically asking you for "user verification"
do not give away your bank details
I dislike heavily when adults in fandom have both a sfw and nsfw acc and then ppl who follow both will comment on the sfw like “i know ur secreetttt” like. Leave that stuff out of their sfw. Minors could be following and by outing them ur puting those minors in danger
I really find it worrisome that this generation is not only incapable of separating fiction from reality, that they insert themselves into every fictional setting and make it everyone else's problem if it does something taboo or problematic.
If you go to an artist looking for a commission and when you ask for pricing you say “remember AI is free”
The artist has the moral right, neigh, obligation to inflate their prices
You probably aren’t gonna commission atp anyway so don’t waste our time with that disrespect
Wouldn't normally comment on this sort of thing... but is negotiation becoming a lost skill or something?
If an artist is asking for a certain price, don't disrespect and insult them by demanding they lower it. An artist is charging that much for multiple reasons:
• Complexity of the art
• High demand
• Attracts more ideal clients
• Keeps away potential headache clients
• It's what they've worked out to make doing art viable for their living situation
• They know their worth
There are more but those are some of the top ones. Discounts from artists usually only come as the result of the artist themself offering it. Respect what price they are asking for. They may already be undercharging as it is!
What you 𝙘𝙖𝙣 ask is if the artist does payment plans or a waitlist so you can secure a future placement while you secure the funds. Don't just "shoot your shot" demanding they accept your insulting amount for something you should know is worth much more. That's a great way to make sure the artist will reject working with you, even if you come back in the future with the funds.
Also, I know some artists purposefully don't show their prices. I have consulted some in the part about a piece, gotten a quote and discovered it was far out of my budget. In that case, I thanked the artist and gave them a tip out of respect for them spending their time and expertise on me even if I didn't go through with it!
Well it happend to me as well now :D
hate to do this but this person have been using my works with A*I and playing dumb making excuses with no actual proofs of not using it.. suddenly they started posting yesterday and the few posts are screaming obvious A*I so just yall know..
if you use generative ai, especially for art, i am
• better than you
• judging the fuck out of you
• pointing and laughing at you
• gonna kick your ass
and you are
• uncreative
• unoriginal
• untalented
• a thief
• a climate fiend
• not to be taken seriously
It was not my intention to criticize Arcane fans here. In fact, I think if you don’t know League or Jinx’s history as a character, it’s totally understandable for her skin splasharts to not feel cohesive with the character from the show :/
