@Rob074683575251@P_Kallioniemi What a true idiot you are, no arguments to support your case so you rely on delusional jibberish. There is no turning from the fact that Russian economy is smaller than Italy's (GDP). Nothing will change that fact. So much for Russia's economic greatness
@LindseyGrahamSC Very good news, thank you! 👏 Hopefully the tariffs will be implemented soon to show Russia the consequences of continuing its brutal war against Ukraine. Thank you for the actions taken.
@red_rover2@mobbs_mentality Remember why post-WW2 security architecture (NATO, rules-based order) was created: to prevent a third war.Russia is now challenging it by moving borders by force - a dangerous precedent for others like China, not to mention the immense human suffering and destruction it causes.
@ashs2dust@mobbs_mentality Soviet Union didn't save the West. It enslaved Eastern Europe and put puppet governments in power in many countries. It is no wonder that many former Soviet countries have joined EU and Nato to make sure it will never happen again.
@ashs2dust@mobbs_mentality What utter bullshit. Nato is a defence alliance created to counterbalance the threat posed by Soviet Union against the West. This threat didn't disappear even after the collapse of the USSR as Russia continues its agressive legacy. Russia is responsible for all the aggression.
@red_rover2@mobbs_mentality I understand that from the US perspective Ukraine is a far off region. But if you kick the can down the road and wait until it becomes necessary to have a full-on war with expansionist Russia it will be far more expensive in terms of money and lives lost.
@red_rover2@mobbs_mentality All of it was fueled by Russia’s desire to subjugate Ukraine, block its Western integration, and reassert influence over former Soviet territories — along with Putin’s personal grievance over the Ukrainian people rejecting pro-Kremlin leaders in favor of the West.
@red_rover2@mobbs_mentality This is complely wrong. To set the chain of events correctly, the US would need to first send troops to Mexico and occupy and annex large part of the country. Then you would see actions from Mexico. This is what happened in Ukraine and all of it was fuelled by Russia's own actions
@red_rover2@mobbs_mentality This is false. Ukraine didn’t ban Russian, it passed a law making Ukrainian the official language, in line with many other countries (e.g. France).Russian is still spoken freely in Ukraine. Before 2014, most Ukrainians didn’t support NATO.Russia’s annexation of Crimea changed that
@ashs2dust@mobbs_mentality Specific targets, lol. Putin is bombing children's hospitals and residential areas - worthy targets by Russian standards. The only unelected leader here is Putin himself, staging rigged elections with prewritten results year after year.
@MCCCANM I agree. Use of nuke would have devastating consequences for Russia, as the current sanctions would be nothing compared to what would follow. Not to mention the global psychological impact of a nuclear strike and how global opinion would turn against Russia, leaving it isolated
Suomi onneksi Natossa, maailman historian voimakkaimmassa puolustusliitossa.
@supinaata@JPihlajamaa Vain Venäjä itse on tämän tilanteen aiheuttanut. Sotarikokset Ukrainassa, hyökkäykset lastensairaaloihin, päivittäiset iskut siviilikohteisiin jne. sitä Venäjä edustaa. Kyllä meillä on loistava naapuri.
