The victim was Afzal Batt, a 60+ year-old Pakistani cab driver in NYC. Afzal was hospitalized after the incident. This is not the first instance of such attacks happening in NYC, where elderly, hardworking Pakistanis & Asians have been targeted by entitled criminals.
