If you're a new player considering to play @Love_Deepspace.
Don't.
Don't give your money to this stupid ass company.
We're currently boycotting after they cancelled the 6th LI's launch, Valko, after a loud minority backlash and their cn government got involved.
Events are messy asf but now, they are clearly free to relaunch Valko after their government confirms they found nothing wrong on his contents.
And yet, they still haven't address us boycotters and continues to operate as if large chunk of their playerbase, chinese and global combine, are not demanding that they bring Valko back and give us another statement.
It's been 100 days and counting. We're not going away. They have broken our trust.
Don't waste your time on a company who wants to milk you while also disrespecting their devs who created the 6 LIs.
LADS is 6.
We want them to #BringValkoBack but until then #NoValkoNoMoney

Once again, PPG is using game accounts to brag about its 5-LI multibanner. They even wrote, "Can Papergames fully emerge from the shadow of the Valko incident?" Calling Valko a "shadow" is utterly disgusting.(+)

I took a little break, but just now I saw something outrageous. Infold is trying to push the narrative that everything's fine and that Global has accepted the changes? This is exactly why I've said, and keep saying, that spending money and logging in become numbers they'll later point to in order to sweep everything under the rug.
You can look through the article yourselves:

I'll post the screenshots in the comments.
God, it's hilarious how they're trying to lie to themselves and in China. This is an unbelievable disgrace.

An open letter to media and journalists.
@SixthTone@ChinaDaily@Eng_china5
I am asking you to look into what has been happening around Infold Games / Papergames and its female player community over the past three months.
This is no longer a fandom disagreement about a fictional character.
After Valko was removed, players asking for transparency documented months of harassment, bullying, censorship and doxxing.
One woman who publicly supported Valko had her personal information exposed, and her small business was targeted and damaged. Other players have documented coordinated harassment, intimidation, deleted comments and attacks on people who kept asking the company for answers.
There is another deeply disturbing part of this story.
On Weibo, prominent fandom accounts have invoked sensitive historical subjects, including Unit 731, as weapons in fandom conflicts and attacks against other players. Screenshots of this content have circulated publicly.
Historical atrocities should never become ammunition in a fandom war.
Valko was also targeted through accusations invoking sensitive issues, including women’s safety. Some harassers then used those narratives to justify ridiculing and intimidating people who defended him or simply demanded transparency.
Infold remained silent.
That silence is not neutral.
When a company watches members of its own customer community being harassed and doxxed for months while continuing to monetize them, it sends a brutal message: their safety matters less than their money.
As an international player, I also want to ask why global customers are treated as though we have fewer rights to information, communication and respect.
We pay for the same game, buy the same products and support the same Chinese IP internationally. Yet global players are repeatedly left without meaningful communication while decisions affecting the product we paid for are made behind closed doors.
And now, after three months of harassment, unanswered questions and unresolved harm, Infold releases heavily sexualized promotional content and continues monetizing its female audience as though nothing happened.
The company can ignore women asking for answers, accountability and protection from harassment, then immediately remember those same women when there is new sexualized content to sell.
Is this really how a Chinese entertainment company wants to represent itself abroad?
Is this the consumer culture China wants its entertainment companies to export: women treated as walking wallets whose concerns can be ignored until the next attractive man appears on screen?
Chinese women do not deserve this treatment. Neither do international women.
I am not asking journalists to take my side in a fandom dispute. I am asking you to examine a larger story:
A major Chinese entertainment company built an enormously profitable product around women, encouraged deep emotional and financial investment, then remained silent while parts of that audience were harassed, doxxed and intimidated after questioning the company’s decisions.
Women’s safety was turned into a weapon in fandom conflicts. Historical atrocities such as Unit 731 were dragged into those same conflicts. People demanding transparency were harassed.
And the company kept selling.
I have screenshots, timelines, public statements, examples of censorship, records of harassment and documentation from affected players.
Please look at what is happening.
Women are customers, not livestock.
International customers are not second-class customers.
Historical tragedy and women’s safety are not weapons for fandom harassment.
Sexualized fanservice does not erase three months of silence.
Why has Infold refused meaningful communication?
Why has it allowed this environment to continue?
And why has a company whose business depends almost entirely on women shown so little responsibility toward the women who built its success?

And once a company gives you the ick, even beautiful content can feel manipulative. That is the sad part. The same teaser might have worked in a different emotional climate. But right now, for many players, it lands badly because the trust is already broken.
Before, spicy content may have felt like:
“This is for us. This understands us.”
Now, it may feel like:
“This is being used against us because they think we will cave.”
“Here, have some spicy content so you’ll stop being angry and start spending again.”
That is where it feels gross. 🤮🙄

если конкуренты и были, то теперь, полагаю, они сами сидят в глубочайшем шоке, да так, что попкорн в горло не лезет, поскольку не ожидали, что «маленькая инди-контора» так охотно самостоятельно ринется пробивать дно.

Yes, I'm skeptical. PPG's new legal account just tells players to handle cyberbullying themselves and says it's not their problem. But their social media ops keep emboldening bullies, like not disqualifying the player who insulted Valko.
#PapergamesruinsCNgaming#BoycottInfold
I suddenly found myself thinking about the VIP system lads, on CN server, you only need to spend over $700 to get VIP, whereas on the global server, you have to spend up to $5,000 and even then you don't get the "princess treatment."…
and… global server gets treated like a stepchild and faces so much unfairness, why is it like that? you bastards, inflop🙂↔️
Please don’t pretend they are powerless here.
No one is asking Paper Games to “control the whole internet.” We are talking about accounts that interact with their official spaces and engage in behaviour that can violate the game’s own user agreement and community rules.
If an account is repeatedly involved in harassment, doxxing, suicide baiting, malicious defamation, or other prohibited conduct, Paper Games can absolutely take action within the spaces and services they control. They can restrict or ban accounts, enforce their own rules, remove people from official community spaces, escalate cases internally, and cooperate with platforms when necessary.
So “they can’t control outside communities” is beside the point.
The issue is that people have been reporting the same major accounts and the same behaviour for months, while those accounts continued to participate in the ecosystem as if nothing happened.
If behaviour violates your own rules, enforcing those rules is not “taking responsibility for everything players do.”
It is literally moderation.
I’m sorry, but I really don’t understand why people are waving this article in everyone’s face like it is some kind of victory.
This is a post from Paper Games’ legal account. It is not a statement on the official LADS pages. It is not an address to global players. There is no acknowledgement of what has been happening in the community for the past 80+ days. There is no explanation. There is no moderation roadmap. There is no direct communication to the international playerbase.
And yet somehow this is already being turned into: “See? They are protecting us. Stop being so pessimistic.”
Protecting us how, exactly?
Most of the practical advice in this article is literally telling players to do things they already learned to do months ago by themselves: save evidence, report posts, report accounts, contact platforms, contact authorities.
Thank you, Infold, we learned.
But where exactly are players supposed to contact YOU?
Where is the instruction saying: “If you are being harassed, doxxed, threatened or targeted by accounts in our community, contact our customer support and we will help collect evidence, escalate reports, cooperate with platforms, or take action against offenders”?
Why is the answer still basically: go to Weibo, go to Xiaohongshu, go to 12377, go to the police, go to court?
So yes, players can report. We already know that.
What we still do not see is Paper Games taking visible responsibility for the spaces around its own game.
And please do not tell me the situation has meaningfully improved when major accounts that posted Unit 731 accusations about Valko are still there. When you can still scroll through large fan accounts and find graphic content, including images of Valko’s head in a boiling pot. When violent posts, suicide baiting and other disgusting content have circulated for months, and I still have not seen even one major repeat-offender account clearly removed because of it.
Some comments get cleaned. Great.
The ecosystem is still there.
And now we also have vague claims circulating on Xiaohongshu about “2,000+ cases,” which are immediately being repeated as if Paper Games has launched thousands of cases specifically to protect players from cyberbullying.
What cases?
Filed when?
About what?
How many involve IP infringement, leaks, account farming, unfair competition, attacks on the company itself?
How many are actually about harassment, doxxing or abuse directed at players?
We do not know.
And another thing that really bothers me is this framing that people were being “incited to unnecessary actions.”
Unnecessary?
Reporting abuse, preserving evidence, contacting platforms, filing lawful complaints, reaching out to journalists, consumer organizations or legal channels are civilized and lawful actions.
You may disagree with them. You may think some of them will lead nowhere. That is fine.
But calling them “unnecessary” after months of silence is a very convenient way to delegitimize people who refused to just shut up and wait.
And yes, I have my own conspiracy-brain theory about why this legal post appeared now.
I would genuinely love to be wrong.
But right now, it looks incredibly convenient as temperature control before a possible five-man multi-banner.
Give people a little hopium.
Lower the anger.
Create the feeling that “something is finally happening.”
Split the community again between “look, they are changing!” and “no, show me actual results.”
Make returning to the game and spending feel emotionally easier.
That is an extremely useful outcome for the company even if nothing substantial has changed yet.
Maybe I am wrong.
I hope I am.
But until we see real moderation, real consequences, direct communication with global players, support channels that actually help victims, and visible changes in the community itself, this is still just a formal legal statement.
A very convenient one.
Not a victory.
