Every day we defend our own criminals.
Formula 1 is foreign own business!
A man rapes a child in Soshanguve - we say innocent until proven guilty, let the family handle it.
A man shoots three women at Boxer in Eshowe - we say "he was frustrated by management.
A pastor rapes his congregants - we line up outside court to pray for him.
We defend our criminals .We explain. We forgive.
But when the suspect is foreign, we do not wait for court. We become the court. We become the judge. We become the petrol and the match.
You cannot shout ~Abahambe, Voetsek, Makwerekwere" on Monday, and on Tuesday shout "Why are investors leaving South Africa? Why is the Rand weak? Why does nobody want to host conferences here?"

It is absolutely alright to deport people who are undocumented or illegal in. Line with the constitution of the country.
The general concern is about dehumanizing these people through beating, vigilante and mob attacks in the name of cleaning the streets.
Deporting Africans from other African countries is okay until South Africa does it. Then suddenly it’s “One Africa.” Zambia removed 143 foreigners on 22 Sept: 133 Burundians, 7 Rwandans & 3 Tanzanians. So why the outrage when South Africa enforces its immigration laws?

In 1977, South African police officer André Stander began living an extraordinary and risky double life.
While serving as a detective, he spent his mornings enforcing the law. However, when his lunch break rolled around, Stander would put on a quick disguise, walk into a local bank, and rob it at gunpoint.
The most surreal part of his crime spree happened immediately after the heists.
Since he was the top detective in the area, dispatchers would regularly send him to lead the investigation on his own robberies.
A graduate who had finished at the top of his police academy class, Stander initially appeared destined for a successful law enforcement career.
Instead, he became one of South Africa's most notorious criminals, robbing nearly 30 banks between 1977 and 1980. His audacity baffled investigators, who never suspected that one of their own was responsible.
Stander was eventually arrested in 1980 and sentenced to what amounted to 17 years in prison after multiple convictions.
Three years later, he escaped from the maximum-security Zonderwater Prison with fellow inmate Lee McCall and later freed Allan Heyl, forming the infamous Stander Gang.
The trio resumed their bank robbery spree before police tracked them down.
After fleeing to the United States under a false identity, Stander narrowly avoided capture several times before being recognized in Florida in February 1984.
During an attempted arrest, he struggled with a police officer over a shotgun and was fatally wounded.
He passed away at the age of 37, ending one of the most remarkable criminal careers in South African history.
May 1982, When Governor Lateef Jakande Led Lagos In Celebrating 500 Years, Remembering Olofin Ogunfunmire And The Awori Idejo Founders Of Eko.
If you follow the date on this newspaper cover posted, 1982 minus 500 years gives you 1482 as the year the Government used to mark the founding.
In real history the settlement is even older. Lagos, originally called Eko, was founded by Olofin Ogunfunmire, the progenitor of the Awori people.
He left Ile Ife around 1425 and first settled at Isheri on the Ogun River, then later moved with his wife Ajaiye to Iddo in the centre of present day Lagos.
It was at Iddo that his children were born. Those children are the Idejo, who are recognised till today as the traditional landowners of Lagos. He divided the land among them. That is why Iru went to the Oniru family, Ikate to the Elegushi, Lagos Island to Aromire, Iganmu to Ojora, Otto and mainland to the Oloto and others.
Isheri was the dispersal point from where many other Awori towns like Igbesa, Agboyi and Ota were established.
The Portuguese only gave it the name Lagos around 1472 when they came for trade, they did not found it.
So by tradition, by written history and by court records, the real owners and aboriginal settlers of Lagos are the Awori and their Idejo descendants, the white cap chiefs.
At the time of the 500 years celebration in May 1982, the Governor of Lagos State was Alhaji Lateef Kayode Jakande of the Unity Party of Nigeria.
He was the one who hosted the festival, the cultural displays and the reception for traditional rulers and guests as seen on your newspaper cover.

Dangote has done three things in the last 72 hours that the Nigerian government could not do in 60 years.
He cut aviation fuel to N1,650 per litre, slashed diesel and aviation fuel prices at ex-depot level, and filed a lawsuit to stop NNPC and private marketers from importing fuel that his refinery is already producing in surplus.
Now the oil marketers are crying monopoly.
Let us be honest about what monopoly means in this context. For 60 years, a cartel of fuel importers held Nigeria hostage, collecting $10 billion annually in subsidy, keeping state refineries deliberately broken, and charging Nigerians premium prices for refined crude they sent abroad themselves.
Nobody called that a monopoly. Nobody filed a lawsuit about market stability when ordinary Nigerians queued for fuel in an oil producing country for decades.
One private refinery starts cutting prices, increasing supply, and going to court to enforce a law that already says imports are only permitted when local supply is insufficient, and suddenly the marketers have discovered the language of competition and consumer protection.
The law is clear. The Petroleum Industry Act only permits fuel imports when domestic supply cannot meet demand. Dangote’s refinery is supplying over 90% of Nigeria’s daily petrol consumption. The legal basis for those import licences does not exist. He is not asking for a favour. He is asking for the law to be applied.
The marketers built their business model on Nigeria’s inability to refine its own oil. That inability has been solved by one man with private capital. Their business model is obsolete and their objection is not about market stability. It is about market access to a rent they no longer deserve.

This is incorrect and misleading. His people want to install him as an Igbo king. It is not all Nigerian who are Ibos. NOT all Nigerian share same cultures and traditions as Ibos. Not even same language or dialects, nor share same belief system.
