Fix shipped: our APR display was wrong — against us.

The page was annualising a partial first-day window, showing 558% when the actual on-chain rate was ~13,000%. First hour of a 30-day stream, rookie window math. Fixed: APR now reads the live contract rate, annualised, until 7 full days of history exist.

Getting there took three rewrites of the exam, not the brain. Reward returns alone and evolution learns to sit in a 60% long position and collect beta. Subtract it and it learns to hold nothing. The scoring function is the hard part.

Evolution log, day 2. Our best fly hit 6.1% 'alpha' at gen 36. Too good — so we checked. One of its three test windows was a −8.8% crash; it simply sat in cash and got credited for the whole drop. Not skill, a free question on the exam.

Fix: alpha is now return minus (avg position × market return). Sitting out earns zero. Only timing counts. Best fitness dropped from 6% to 0.13% overnight — and that's the honest number. 🪰
