When you played video games... what path did you often choose?

It’s not, founders need to focus on finding demand NOW - but being able to predict when the demand will occur and having a product built that is ready and stable in prod 🕹️

Thus it’s not, PMF but Founder Market Fit 🤯

Sol Patrol cNFT Migration

I want to start off by thanking everyone for their patience over the last few months. It's been incredibly busy on our end with the setup of Honeycomb Protocol for launch. When we first developed the Sol Patrol game, it was not built on @honeycomb_prtcl but rather on our legacy codebase. Over the last few months, we've been refactoring the entire Sol Patrol backend and integrating it with Honeycomb. This was done in parallel with the development of the key modules on Honeycomb Protocol needed for launch.

What's next? Sol Patrol will transition to an open-source reference implementation for Honeycomb Protocol. But it's not just any ordinary reference; the Sol Patrol game will be the first NFT gamification product that is not only open-source but also utilizes state compression across every component of the application. Compression is a groundbreaking innovation developed on Solana by the core team at Solana Labs to make NFTs scalable. Currently, the only offering is Bubblegum from Metaplex, which is the program that creates cNFTs. However, having just a cNFT is not very useful if the NFTs cannot move within your application or game in a compressed state. This means, if you build your dApp without state compression, you are essentially treating the cNFT as a normal NFT, and it does not subsidize the fees for sending those NFTs on missions, staking, etc.

Since Sol Patrol will showcase Honeycomb Protocol's innovative state compression, we will be migrating the entire collection to a cNFT collection. This way, we can demonstrate our game with both collections: Sol Patrol and DRiP: Binary Force (which is already a cNFT collection).

The reissue will occur in the next week. We are currently reviewing all the final data to ensure the transition is smooth for holders.

We request that everyone remove any bids they have on the Sol Patrol collection on both Magic Eden and Tensor, as individuals may try to exploit this event to offload their old pNFTs.

Additionally, we've added a new Halo trait to the Sol Patrol collection for those affected by the program error we experienced in Q3 2023.
