Steve Jobs on escaping a "limited life":
"Everything around you that you call life was made up by people no smarter than you. And you can change it. You can influence it. You can build your own things that other people can use."
"Once you learn that, you'll never be the same again."

Yesterday was a solemn and deeply emotional day for me.
We laid to rest a man I was proud to call a friend, a brother, and a patriot⦠His Excellency, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR.
Mai Gaskiya was not just a former president. He was a man of rare discipline and quiet strength, whose love for Nigeria shaped every decision he made, even in the face of criticism.
I mourn him deeply, not just as my predecessor, but as a comrade in the long and often lonely journey of nation-building.
To his beloved wife, Hajiya Aisha Buhari, and the entire family, I offer my heartfelt condolences. May you find comfort in the honour and legacy he leaves behind.
Nigeria has lost a true son. I have lost a friend in former President Buhari.
May Almighty Allah grant him Aljannah Firdaus.
Rest well, βBaba Buhariβ

@FinPlanKaluAja1 As I said, any system can be abused. A bicameral parliamentary system isn't that much cheaper. You have 2 houses. And front benchers will need to retain parliamentary privileges as cabinet can be reshuffled anytime. Cars and other ministerial paraphernalia are for the Ministries.
@FinPlanKaluAja1 Sounds good in theory, but we probably owe our survival to the Presidential system. Switch to a West Minister-styled system and the country can easily morph into a unitary party dictatorship, with officially no term limits. The current system is great. Any system can be abused.

@okumephuna That she seems to have got wrong. She resigned over the allegation that she forged an exemption certificate. She probably was qualified for one or didn't even need it on the basis of her foreign nationality.
@okumephuna So she was not a Nigerian at the time of graduation. And when her citizenship, like for other duals, was automatically restored by the 1999 constitution, she was already >30. In essence, she became a Nigerian when above 30 yrs so did not meet requirements for NYSC mobilisation.
@okumephuna Under the 1979 Nigerian constitution, Kemi would have automatically lost her citizenship when she turned 21 in 1988, as she didn't renounce her UK citizenship. Although the 1989 constitution allowed duals and was promulgated months before she graduated, it wasn't operational.
