The Somalian Foreign Minister blames Uganda @StateHouseUg@GovUganda and the international community for Al Shabab terrorist attacks.

“Many countries, when forced to choose between the U.S. and China, opt for the latter.
We [in Somaliland] have consistently chosen — and will continue to choose — America, Taiwan and other free, democratic partners.”
wrote Somaliand President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi to President Trump.
Somaliland is one of the few places in Africa that has maintained close diplomatic ties with Taiwan.
It has also positioned itself as an indispensable American ally willing to stand up to China and its expanding influence on the African continent.
Today, our nation (Republic of Somaliland) has officially concluded 13 years of dialogue with the neighbouring Somalia, a process hindered by repeated breaches of agreement from the other side and a clear lack of genuine intent to reach meaningful outcomes.
Going forward, We will no longer invest time in unproductive engagements. Instead, we will continue to channel our efforts towards constructive engagement with credible global partners who respect peace, democratic principles, and the sovereign will of the people.

The #UnitedStates is exploring the possibility of establishing a modern military base in the city of Berbera, #Somaliland while U.S. State Department officials have proposed closing the American embassy in #Somalia.
Thank you, your Honorable Secretary @ChrisLandauUSA. @ynetnews, #Israel, sums up the strategic importance of Berbera port, and why the US should recognise #Somaliland: A game-changer for security and strategy.
#Somaliland’s Berbera port sits at the heart of a global power struggle; As China, Iran and Russia tighten their grip on vital waterways, the US risks losing a key ally in the Horn of Africa by clinging to outdated policies https://t.co/xwMYLkEoFb
Today, April 6th, marks the 44th anniversary of the founding of the Somali National Movement (SNM), Africa’s most successful liberation movement. Congratulations to the SNM veterans and the people of Somaliland. Against all odds, the SNM triumphed over a brutal alliance of tyranny, fascism, and an anti-Islamic regime.
We salute the living legend and SNM veteran, @AbdisalamYassi1 , whose courage and sacrifice continue to inspire generations.
