Take a look at this amazing close‑up of a water rail tip‑toeing across the ice at Westhay Moor! ❄️

You might notice a little flash of white on its head - it could be a small patch of leucism!

Sound on! It's noisy fox season! 🔊

January is fox mating season, so those eerie screams at night? 👀 Just a vixen calling for a mate!

Foxes have 28 different calls! From the famous “hup-hup-hup” to cubs’ playful “ack-ack-ack”!

What birds are these? 🤔 We'll give you some clues...

🔎 A winter visitor
🔎 Seen in large flocks
🔎 Largest thrush in the UK
❌ Not a mistle thrush!

Did you get it?

They're fieldfares! Seen here feasting on berries on our wildling site Honeygar!
