@ZeroFusion0_Pv@RevedCube It wouldn't surprise me if they both try to betray each other. Maybe that's how The New Seven find an opening to steal a (likely temporary) victory.
@Wokelander_alt3 It doesn't, the bush tanks the first shot because you hit it, the second shot misses because he side-stepped it (screenshot is when the weapon starts firing the 2nd shot, despite the bullet not being subtracted from the count yet, I'm guessing that's why)
@SolidXSHOTS I think we've just got to be a little patient. We know nothing about her other than that she worked for the IO and built the mech. Her total canonical appearances is just one loading screen before this season
She's likely to be here for the rest of the chapter at least.
@EpicTofuChris I'm still listening to the event soundtrack and rewatching it.
I think Shattered may be the best event yet. Not sure it'll be beaten (I've said that before and been proven wrong many times).
@JoshaTempy@Ridiculous_Ties ...Making them rarer and harder to get doesn't combat sellers. Like, at all. If anything, it drives prices and demand up.
The resellers can already summon infinite copies of the rare sprites because they already have them. They're not going anywhere. This does nothing.
@KR0N1K17@azzi_azalea@MaraxiaFN I don't play bot lobbies. Haven't for a couple of years now.
Your point about trades still having risk but bot lobbies not was what I was disputing, because trades still occur in said "riskless" bot lobbies, or with personal extractors in silent parts of the map.
@JoshaTempy@Ridiculous_Ties Uh huh, 10x more acceptable to just do absolutely nothing at all yourself (or even buy them from sellers) than...roll a 1/11,000 (or whatever the odds are) naturally after hours and hours in a gamemode you don't like.
@OliverClozzof@fizzypanic@ItsHypo_ Yeah they should've either done this day one changed the spawn rates or left them in bot lobbies tbh. Most people only want the style
I think they anticipated these things spreading so fast because of trading with friends that resellers would be irrelevant but that didn't happen
@ThePieceOfGras Why would Epic actually do that though? Pushing away a big chunk of your audience is terrible for business.
Plus it makes the player onboarding experience for new/returning players so much worse, hurting the growth of the game significantly.
@OliverClozzof@fizzypanic@ItsHypo_ The problem is that you can still just buy the rare sprites back with dust.
The resellers already have them, and now Epic has made them harder to obtain which, arguably, makes the market better for those resellers.
@Dave_Miller1979@CammyHoliday This is just me guessing, but I'm betting a lot of them either have artificially inflated stats from years ago and/or bot lobbies, or play duos/squads, where the matchmaker is terrible at taking an average of the team's skill, thus making their lobbies harder than they should be.
@RealityCat22 The problem is the matchmaking. People wouldn't mind it as much if they could casually play with their group of friends and have fun while still fighting people.
That's why bot lobbies are popular. Why people finished their character and fishing collections in Battle Labs, etc.
