@speakinginbold@Thinklikebutter Nope, the discourse during ragnarok was appreciating his development and fleshing out his character beyond what we got in the Greek era, nobody said they don't want him to fight again or be brutal
@speakinginbold@Thinklikebutter Not a soul said Kratos shouldn't be brutal or not kill as if he's some pacifist, people just appreciate his development and that he isn't JUST a raging brute, you're making up things to be mad at
@CoviidCowboy@215DT It went somewhere as he got the v1, the whole point was to become immune from aging which he accomplished, doing it 2 episodes before wouldn't really do much cuz even with v1 he still wanted the same things and he would've went out the same way
@CoviidCowboy@215DT The v1 plot ties into his fear of aging which is something that's existed for a while, and really what would seeing him massacre the population do? Because there's a lot of rewriting you have to do around that
@CoviidCowboy@215DT Because he didn't want to and there's no reason to, his God complex didn't allow him to massacre a large group because he needs people to praise him, by the finale is when he publicized to non believers he was gonna kill them
@CoviidCowboy@215DT Because he was stopped before he could do those horrible things, for the longest time the one thing he cared about was being perceived as a savior and someone good, there's no reason to do a massacre if that's your primary goal
