@orphanepine@AndreolaMuller Index Modus assigns an item a value of 0-9. Retrieving an item is as easy as searching for the matching value in the table. Punching a Captchalogued item doesn’t actually expend the card, but in turn extra cards can’t be used to expand the range, limiting it to 10 items maximum.
@MrShift0@moriofSilk Not quite. Because the cereal would have higher priority, it would be significantly stronger but only have maybe 2-3 uses, whereas the gun with low priority would be weaker but have significantly more uses than the cereal
@MrShift0@moriofSilk Take for example the gun you mentioned earlier. At high priority, yeah, it probably would just straight up fire when used, but at low priority it might be something like pistol-whipping or using a rifle like a club instead of shooting
@MrShift0@moriofSilk The more interest or value she assigns to the item at the time, the more powerful its effect will be when used. It’s best to not always think of items serving their most literal function in terms of Sylladex kind, it’s not meant to always be predictable in what it does with items
@MrShift0@moriofSilk@AndreolaMuller Hey I’m the guy that created the character and the Sylladexkind specibus, here’s the actual answer as to what it is and does

@moriofSilk@AndreolaMuller Think about it like an item menu from a turn based RPG. When combined with her Fetch Modus, the higher priority a captchalogued item has, the more powerful the effect the item has at the cost of having less uses. A more direct weaponizing of the Sylladex seen in the webcomic

@orphanepine@AndreolaMuller If you’ve ever played SMT or Persona then Summoning Modus might be a familiar concept. Any item the user puts in their Sylladex is broken down into components that can then be used to summon the item. User has to remember what components make what item
