One #RPG pet peeve of ours is when everyone routinely absorbs massive amounts of damage. In #Somnium it's still possible to make an extremely durable "tank," but for the majority of characters, ways to avoid a hit (like this Destroyer lich's shielding) are far more important.

@burnthecomedian I consumed SO much advice before starting to DM. A lot of it is really useful but literally nothing is better than getting in there and making mistakes. Learn from them, make a note if you can, and try to do better next time. It's a skill like anything else, takes time to master.

Tonight's adventures in #GameMaker #RPG creation:
1. Easily added a complex ability; became overconfident.
2. Remembered that the AI must also be given that ability; became less confident.
3. Game froze; spent 2 hours hunting for unrelated infinite loop.
