BREAKING: Martin Luther King Jr.'s daughter wrecks MAGA Sen. Ted Cruz after he disgustingly invoked MLK's legacy to attack the NAACP's decision to issue a travel advisory to visitors to Florida because its Republican laws are "hostile to Black Americans."

The NAACP said that “Florida is openly hostile toward African Americans, people of color and LGBTQ+ individuals" and said that visitors should "understand that the state of Florida devalues and marginalizes the contributions of, and the challenges faced by African Americans and other communities of color.”

The warning comes amidst Gov. Ron DeSantis' continued efforts to whitewash history in schools, including a decision to block an AP course in African American Studies.

Cruz called the advisory "bizarre" and "utterly dishonest" and absurdly claimed that "Dr. King would be ashamed of how profoundly" the NAACP has "lost their way."

Bernice King retweeted Cruz's asinine message and bluntly stated that her father would be "deeply concerned" about the "harmful, discriminatory legislation in Florida."

This morning I sent my kids to school with a pit in my stomach.

School shootings have been their reality for as long as they’ve been in school.
