Just a disclaimer,
There may be outdated stuff here that may not be reliable cause i made this while taking every post at face value, so make sure to verify for yourselves if you have time on your hands. I ain't the best for this so i may not continue this thread in the future.
i feel like fandom would become fun again if people simply stopped treating writers and artists as if they owe them something and started treating them as fellow fans who simply choose to share their hobbies
trick i learned to counteract this if you're autistic in the workforce: start slacking often in small amounts, as early as possible. if you try too hard at your job to start, they assume that's your baseline and they'll never let you get away with doing less from then on.
Recently n artist I like added their age to their bio, turns out they are underage, but they interact with the wery horny comments from ppl in their comments/asks
I am begging young artists PLEASE be safe online...dont interact with adults ab stuff like this, PLEASE stay safe
no joke I genuinely think some of yall treat being indie like its a political ideology where the idea is that being niche unpopular broke and starving is the morally correct position
Like yall are basically thinking this image is the correct thing to do
Hate doing lineart? Try cleaning your sketches instead.
Want to draw faster? Stop doing detailed sketches, focus more on basic shapes & composition, then do detailing in lineart / painting.+
Tucker's Final Mission
https://t.co/EvA1Sq0P3q
When we wrote Tucker’s book, we never imagined we’d be sharing it without him. This was a project we poured our hearts into long before his passing, and we had dreamed of celebrating its release together. Although our hearts are broken and our world has completely changed, our hope is that this final chapter of Tucker’s story can bring love, comfort, and hope to others, just as he did throughout his life.
🎗️For children battling cancer: You can sponsor a book and Tucker squishy bundle that will be donated to a child fighting cancer through our participating children’s hospitals and nonprofit partners. Our dream is to reach every child diagnosed this year.
❤️For the fight against cancer: We’ve personally donated $8,000 to Morris Animal Foundation’s Golden Retriever Lifetime Study, a groundbreaking study investigating cancer in Golden Retrievers, and $2,000 to Blood Cancer United’s Dare to Dream Project, which funds groundbreaking research and clinical trials to develop safer, less toxic, and more effective treatments for children with blood cancer, with fewer long term side effects.
With your help, we’re hoping to reach our fundraising goals of $50,000 for Morris Animal Foundation and $75,000 for Blood Cancer United in Tucker’s honor. Every contribution brings us one step closer. You can sponsor a book bundle, donate directly, and follow our fundraising progress through the links on our website.
This was never how we imagined sharing Tucker’s book with the world 😭 He was supposed to be here for this. But we hope something beautiful can come from something so heartbreaking. Thank you for helping us carry on his legacy
"selfcest but its a hopeful filipino trying to make a peaceful revolution for the country x the same character who suffered for it and now making violent revolutions like oh i wonder which pinoy boy is this about 👀"
BASICALLY think of ocd as having the Twitter replies section manifesting in ur brain. Like how people on here will read u saying one thing and then claim you said the complete opposite. OCD is a manifestation of ur brain pulling the pancakes waffles shit on an extreme level
I’m noticing a lot of ace/aro-phobic people are just aro/ace themselves because majority of the time they say things like
“Why do you need a label for this [aro/ace thing]! Isn’t that normal?!” (It is not)
It’s a cannon event I fear
I think more artists, when taking commissions, should know not to draw the exact 1:1 to the client-given references of another artist's drawing, change the angle, the line of movement, or something to be at least a bit distinct from the ref cause this literally happens every time
