1969.
A Pakistani architect built a dome 212 feet wide in Karachi with no central pillars.
Engineers said it was barely possible.
He built it anyway.
Masjid-e-Tooba. DHA Karachi. Designed by Dr. Babar Hamid Chauhan. One of the world's largest single-dome structures without internal support.
No pillars. The entire dome resting on a circular low wall at its base. 212 feet across. 51 feet tall. Pure white marble on the outside. Thousands of pieces of mirror glass covering the ceiling inside.
70,000 man-hours of labour for the dome alone.
But the detail that stops everyone cold is the acoustics.
Masjid-e-Tooba was designed so precisely that sound travels around the circular walls the way it does in the world's greatest performance halls. A whisper at one end of the prayer hall can be heard clearly at the other.
A mosque as acoustically perfect as a concert hall.
Built in Karachi. By a Pakistani architect. In 1969. Without modern computational engineering tools.
57 years later the dome still stands. Still holds Friday prayers. Still leaves every visitor speechless.
Pakistan built this.
Karachi Owns this.
The world just never looked.
Pakistan Zindabad. 🇵🇰
When your father was assassinated he was out of Lahore, returned and went straight to his home. Consoled and supported the family and pursued the case as CM Punjab.
He had the same inches then as well.
If you can’t value who stood by you in tough times, at least don’t be mean.
The hospitality that makes foreigners leave with their wallets untouched. The memes that win wars on their own. The music India listens to in secret. The food the world is only now discovering.
Not Arabs. Not Indians. Just Pakistanis.
"What drives Pakistani hospitality is not generosity in the Western sense. It is honour. Hosting someone, even a stranger, even with a cup of tea you cannot really afford, is an act of personal dignity. The host is not doing you a favour. They are doing something for themselves: fulfilling a code that says a guest in your presence is your responsibility, your privilege, and your reputation. "
Pakistan’s role in freedom struggle of Morocco 🇲🇦
In 1952 when Morocco was under French rule and they were fighting for their independence, Sultan Mohammed V of Morocco sent Ahmed Balafrej to US to address UN Security Council.
However, French delegates did not allow him to speak saying that because Morocco was a French protectorate therefore, Ahmed Bulferg being subject of France can’t speak at the UN forum.
At this humiliation of Ahmed Balafrej by the French, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Zafar Ullah Khan immediately got Pakistani embassy at New York opened at night and offered Ahmed Balafrej Pakistani nationality and issued him Pakistani Passport, due which on the next day he was able to address the UN Security council as Pakistani citizen in favour of Morocco. This gave great boost to the Moroccan independence movement internationally and back at home.
Finally when Morocco became independent in 1956, the Sultan Mohammed appointed Ahmed Balafrej as Prime Minister of Morocco and he used to hang his framed Pakistani Passport in his office and used to proudly tell all the visitors the role that passport played in the independence of Morocco.

A passport once became a symbol of powerful diplomacy, highlighting how Pakistan used influence to support nations fighting for their freedom. In the early 1950s, as Morocco struggled for independence from France, its voice was nearly silenced on the global stage.
In a decisive and bold move, Zafarullah Khan ensured that Ahmad Balafrej was issued a diplomatic passport, allowing him to address the United Nations. This step gave Morocco the platform it needed to present its struggle to the world.
Pakistan extended similar support during the independence movement in Algeria, where leaders such as Ahmed Ben Bella were enabled to travel and advocate internationally. These efforts played a role in amplifying the voices of millions seeking freedom from colonial rule.
In Tunisia, Pakistan’s diplomatic engagement also left a lasting impact. The recognition of Patras Bokhari reflects the respect earned through those contributions, showing how deeply such efforts were valued.
While the people of Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia fought their own battles, Pakistan stood firmly beside them in the diplomatic arena, ensuring their voices reached the global stage when it mattered most.
This legacy reflects Pakistan’s strength
in soft power-using diplomacy, solidarity, and timely action to influence global outcomes and support just causes without stepping onto the battlefield.

Facts you can’t ignore: India has benefited massively from the ceasefire, yet resentment persists over Pakistan’s role in making it happen. Watch how ‘Godi media’ is reacting, even as India continues to benefit economically from the fragile peace made possible by Pak efforts.
Chinese analyst: “Thanks to Pakistan "
Indian journalist: “Alright that’s enough truth for today."
Indian media has completely lost the plot at this point 😂
