@herbBlurb Also shampoo bars are great as you don't need any packaging. But I agree you need to look at the formulation. You need also a shampoo bar that don't dissolve to quickly otherwise it uses too much product at once.
@herbBlurb Face oil is 1 example of product that don't require heat for manufacturing, easily packaged in glass, can be made with sustainable or upcyled ingredients and you use only a few drops per day as needed. It might not be enough for everyone but personally, I don't need a moisturizer
@herbBlurb If you consider only the ingredients in the formulation maybe, but waterless require usually less energy for manufacturing, less packaging and are more concentrated so they can be used for longer. Because of this, 1 waterless can't be compared with 1 conventional product.

Thank you @simonpegg for hosting the premiere 🙏
RT: We’ve delivered 625kg of plastic to Downing Street - the same amount the UK dumps overseas every 30 seconds - to deliver a message. Stop dumping UK plastic waste overseas and fuelling health and wildlife emergencies.
@BorisJohnson take responsibility. 1/2
@chemistscorner cancer. Finding benzene in spray sunscreen is concerning as it can be absorbed directly by breathing (hopefully limited if you spray outside). It is dangerous not to apply any sunscreen but alternative sunscreens exist. A better control of contaminants is important.
@chemistscorner Thank you for sharing this. Interesting but there are a lot of inaccuracies. I doubt benzene is used so often as a solvent nowadays and surely not to extract oils from seeds and nut (hexane is used instead). The fact that there's benzene in town pollution is increasing risk of ..
@britbeautyblog That's incredibly low. Are you working with small businesses as well and not only big retailers? It would a lot more interesting for you.😉
@fairyglowmother I think it could depend on their exact composition and how stable the formula is. But if there isn't research to support the formula, I agree this is the case for most products on the market. I personally much prefer to take vitamin C orally as it really helps!
@Dermstore Oil is not necessarily bad for skin with imperfections, it all depends on its composition. Not all oils are equals. Some are blocking the pores but others don't. Oils rich in linoleic acid are the ones to look for. Oil free products can sometimes drying and make your skin worse.

The spill is not an accident, but an environmental crime perpetrated by people.
Such a crime underscores the danger of toxic fuels and how foolish it is to rely on them. It’s time for a #FossilFreeRevolution.

@sugarpuffish Sure, everyone is different and have different needs. 😉 Keep in mind that not all face oils are the same as well. Not sure which one you have tried before but happy to give some advise if you're looking for something specific for your skin. Hope you will find what you want. 😉
Bees are back in the news after the Environment Minister George Eustice approved emergency use of a bee-killing pesticide.
A third of UK bees have disappeared in the last 10 years. 😯
What happens if we kill more of them?
