Those Pakistanis who talk, write or act against the state of Pakistan should return their passports & NICOP. We do not need them. There may be differences about present or past rulers, the ideology , manner of governance. But no enemy of the state of Pakistan be allowed to exist.
I have waited many years, decades even, to write these words and the day has finally arrived. Today I am proud to be a Pakistani.
My piece in Dawn today.

Tonight, Pakistan achieved one of its biggest diplomatic wins in years. It also defied many skeptics and naysayers that didn’t think it had the capacity to pull off such a complex, high stakes feat.
But what matters the most is it helped avert a potential catastrophe in Iran.
For once, drop the bias. This is bigger than your parties, your alliances, your narratives. A moment that could have gone very differently, didn’t. We showed up and made it count. This is a moment. Be proud. Own it. Claim it. Pakistan did this 🙌🏻
Pakistan helped avert a major escalation in the Iran conflict. @DanStrumpf explains how PM Shehbaz Sharif used global ties to broker a ceasefire and buy time for talks: https://t.co/GHCPmkKeHA
Celebrations in Iran after Pakistan convinces Iran and the United States to sign a ceasefire deal and potentially saved millions of people from devastation 🇵🇰🇮🇷🇺🇸🇮🇱
I warmly commend Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for their exceptional diplomatic efforts in averting a major global crisis and securing Iran - U.S. ceasefire. I also applaud the leadership of Iran and the United States for choosing peace and statesmanship. May this be a meaningful step toward lasting global stability.
Violations of ceasefire have been reported at few places across the conflict zone which undermine the spirit of peace process. I earnestly and sincerely urge all parties to exercise restraint and respect the ceasefire for two weeks, as agreed upon, so that diplomacy can take a lead role towards peaceful settlement of the conflict.

Just landed at an airport in Mexico. Handed over my Pakistani passport for immigration, and the officer smiled warmly, looked at me and said, “You’re a global peacemaker. We’re proud of you.”Made my day.🇵🇰🇵🇰
From Trump’s threat to end Iran’s “whole civilization” to a ceasefire deal less than 12 hours later, I asked Pakistani Ambassador to the U.S. @AmbRizSaeed how we got here: (1/7)
You were born as a Pakistani, not as a supporter of any particular party, if you're not able to digest the victory of your country then believe me you've some serious mental issues, a person can never be bigger than the country, stop worshipping, you should have your own thinking
Chairman Mao used to say ‘women hold half the sky’! Pakistan’s women diplomats have been amazing in their professionalism, the best & the brightest among diplomats of world-class calibre!
1. Do we Pakistanis realize what we just achieved?
2. This happens once in a country's life
3. Millions dead — prevented
4. Global oil in chaos — prevented
5. World economic shock — prevented
6. Pakistan's fingerprints are everywhere on this peace
7. Own it
The UN couldn't do it. NATO didn't try. China stayed quiet. Pakistan walked into the most dangerous standoff since the Cold War and said: we have a plan. The world is now waiting on the Islamabad Accord. No more questions about Pakistan's relevance. It's going to be blockbuster.
@Shehzad89 Hahahaha 😂😂😂 he is complaining about our PM copy pasting messages or some silly stuff like that.
Meanwhile the world is celebrating our PM and Field Marshall’s effort for bringing everyone to Isb for the #IslamabadAccord
