3. Ancient people of what is today Turkey included Greeks, Armenians, Hittites, Luwians, Phrygians, Lydians, Hattians, Hurrians, many of which were being Hellenized or Romanized millennia and centuries before the Turkic tribes from Mongolia appeared in the region.
