My coolest buy from this weekend was this lot of 80+ cards from the 1952 Topps Look n See set including the Babe Ruth. Since there are only 135 cards in the set and I have the only expensive one in Ruth, I guess I’ll finish the set!

An amazing card arrived today courtesy of @stuber_scott Carl Mays of the Yankees wearing a black armband in honor of Ray Chapman, the only player ever killed in a MLB game. It was Mays’ pitch that hit him in the head and killed him in 1920. Scarlet letter indeed.
