Vertex Animation Textures, now an example in @playcanvas 🧵
Rather than animate a skeleton per character, we bake every vertex position and normal into a texture and let the vertex shader interpolate between frames.
10,000 characters. One instanced draw call.

A. 100GB engine is too much make a cube.
B. The license started feeling a like a horror game with surprise twist.
C. You accidentally joined a philosophical movement, by using the engine.
D. All of the above.
We've heard some folks are a little unsure how to use UI Layers, so Gurpreet is going to host a livestream to walk you through it!

Check out this cinematic FullDome 8K render created in Unreal Engine by Ivan Elizarov using Camera Render Studio and the Cinematic Earth asset by HuguesCG. The domed presentation format is intended for use cases like Planetariums, immersive theatres and more🌎
"In this render, I wanted to demonstrate how a detailed planetary environment can look when presented in the FullDome format. Instead of viewing the scene on a conventional flat screen, the image is designed to surround the audience across the dome surface, creating a greater sense of scale, depth, and immersion" - Ivan Elizarov
