@GordoCDA The tankers up over Australia are interesting. I'm unaware of any exercises happening here at the moment. When Trump used the B2s to bomb Yeman last year they took this route and were refuelled over Australia.

It only works when both parties are rational and won't act in a manner that would see the total destruction of their population. There are elements of the IRGC that wouldn't care if all of Iran was lost.
