@EricDJuly I love this. I actually saw this while browsing Barnes & Nobles' website a couple days ago. I became a grandpa last September and I'm excited that I'll be able to get some GOOD, wholesome books for him.
This really has a chance to be a positive impact on our culture.
Why is fulfillment of Gemshock taking so long though? I've backed several of your books and fulfillment has always been blazing FAST, so it's a stark contrast to what I'm used to from you.
For anyone that's reading, this is not an attack or fake concern. In fairness, I've not had ANY problems with anything I have ordered from Mandy. Until now. I just don't know what is going on, so I'm asking.
I dipped out from CG quite a while ago, but I'm still an active backer... I'm just more selective.
I typically don't mention other creators or their business but lately I feel like anti-CG dickriders (who never even backed my book) have been going out of their way to fuck with me. To be clear, my actual backers are fantastic and are for the most part understanding. I'm excited that they're eager to get their book. But check it... what's funny here is that out of all of these books I'm mentioning, I am the ONLY one actually in fulfillment. π
Shelby Robertson hasn't given a shit since 2022 when his book Ninety Four: Ragetality's War was due, as he takes mainstream work and random cover coms here and there while holding nearly $40 thousand in funding. In over 4 years not one accusation or concern that the money is no longer there?
Fraga is what 5-6 years late and seems to want to finish Black Flag eventually, which is good, but his low-IQ no-name writer William homo-something runs around laughing saying "I got your money" while he gets fatter and becomes more rat-like. The rat king spends HOURS and I mean 3/4 of the day watching CG streams and clipping segments about EVS, Shane, Jon, and myself and then makes tweets in an absolute struggle session calling us names like he's the 5th grade bully.
Kelsey is running late on Scribbles, and there's a guy who performed a demonic ritual and summoned 16 mephit backers with low-limit credit cards to fund a couple hundred bucks on his breakout hit Red Eyes 4 that he can't seem to get out, and with each new update comes a new fun excuse about his life.
And finally, ohhhh finally, straight out of the Lament Configuration, we have the aquatic cenobite assassin Ali Sangwinny who is 3 years late on a 24 page book. Where's all the assholes saying she spent the money and can't pay her artist? Where's the accusations that no one will ever actually receive that book? As she has began work on a new book with a twink and the rat king.
My point is that there seems to be an awful lot of overlooking reality and holding people accountable equally. These "purely genuine people" who are concerned for others run gayops and smear campaigns against people they dislike. It's 24/7 that there's some new cataclysmic event they've uncovered and they hold no tie to actual reality. So as my backers post photos of the books they are receiving, maybe ask the question "WTF is up with these other people?". If you're true in what you say and you just want people to deliver on their promises, then you'll start holding everyone responsible. Ya know?
@FergSZN@losboysz@LawsNation Spann-Ford is at 85.7%, with a smaller sample size of course. So if one is inconsistent then so is the other.
My point about the red zone is to create a mismatch with someone who is 6'7", or at least try it. I didn't say Ferg sucks in the red zone, but we need help there.
@clarencehilljr Murray can't even miss tackles because he's not even in the area of the ball carrier. I'm an OU fan so I really hate to say it, but he's terrible.
