@georgewrighster Arch has been overrated since the high school. He shouldn’t have been the “#1 player in the class”. Seems he has hit his peak has a QB. I would still gladly take him at OU over John Mateer. The other 4 players are in the league and have better credentials.

@GeorgeStoia Being OU’s quarterback comes with pressure, expectations and accountability. John isn’t handling it, and BV keeps letting poor play slide. At some point, sticking with him becomes a coaching failure. Give Witt a shot. If OU is going to lose, at least find out what he can do.

@GeorgeStoia Mateer doesn’t have to save the season Saturday. Take the easy throws, trust the guys up front and run when there’s room. Arbuckle needs to quit pressing and put a few good drives together for him. Put him on the move and some quick game. RPOs have to stop he sucks at it.

Oklahoma is program known for offensive and QB play these past 10-15 years. Oklahoma should go big or don’t even try to play anymore. Go get the OC and QB you want/need and pay for it, the old analogy “if you want quality you have to pay for it”.

Oklahoma probably could afford to start all over. In my opinion BV needs to stay HC, find a seasoned OC with a staff. I would love for Jason Witten to stay and McCullough as well. If the effects of bringing in a new staff changes that at this point I think it has to be done.
