@SBuiscuil@paul78767602@fansrarenft@MLS_pioberna But yet they could have done this and many other things damn easily literally years ago and they haven't. I'm convinced they have a real lack of commercial acumen because they've had shocking execution and some real headscratchers year on year, month on month.
@TorronMiguel@Top_Spud_ @ItshaberSorare Every user is going to see ๐ป because the in season cards devalue rapidly throughout the season. For most, they will win much much less than what they will pay for the cards, causing them to lose faith in the change and leave.
@FfcStone29@Afrikiwi94@sorare_buli Not a single successful business relies on income entirely from one source. Name me one that still exists after 3 years of doing so. I'll wait.
@FfcStone29@Afrikiwi94@sorare_buli Rubbish take on betting, they essentially doing this with the changes to cap 240. Read through the medium article I posted months ago. Plenty of examples there. I'm not going to type them out again.
@FfcStone29@Afrikiwi94@sorare_buli Literally every single business that is successful offers to their customers what they perceive to be value equal to or more than what they are paying for. You are blindly reading value as meaning financial gain.
@sorare_portugal You're never making serious money again mate. Why can't people understand that when the house takes a rake of 40% or so, that the vast majority, if not all, are going to be moderate to big losers. They only survive by selling more and more cards. That is not sustainable one bit.
@tom_schlange@Westy_FTI@Sorare@ni2las You must not be the brightest person given this actively going to kill a lot of the user base which puts more financial pressure on Sorare because they need to sell more cards in an ever-worsening spiral.
@SorareAssist@Sorare It won't be for the good of Sorare. People will stop playing. Their problem is they think taking 40% of a pizza and dividing the remainder in fancy ways will satisfy people. Doesn't matter how you cut it. Still only 60% of a pizza and sub-par entertainment value.
@SorareAssist@Real___Jerry@Sorare Tell you what. I'll create some jpegs in Microsoft Word of your fave players and send you a prize of a congratulatory jpeg when the 5 of them score goals in the same weekend.
@TorronMiguel@Top_Spud_ @ItshaberSorare If you take 40% of a pizza up and chop up the slices differently it doesn't create more pizza. That's all this update is. Same root issues will present again in 3-12 months.
@Top_Spud_@fansrarenft It's because they think they can only make money by selling more cards - they clearly have zero understanding of inflation or deflation and think smoke and mirrors will prop the business up. Sack the leadership and get some real business acumen involved. Income diversification.
@paul78767602@fansrarenft@MLS_pioberna The issue is that they still derive 100% of their revenue from selling more cards. The platform itself is not a failed idea. The failure is their completely abject execution of a business where they have failed to diversify where their income comes from.
@Sorare & @ni2las are realising that "own your game" is incongruous with a sustainable business. Their solution is squeeze existing users for more, rather than offer value to users through different revenue streams to help sustain the business. Clueless leadership sadly.
@Pianokit@LydiaPearl@blessed_routine@dbseymour Arguably they'd be better off if they didnt do either at 16, but making it illegal for them to do either of those things at 16 wouldn't stop them from doing it. The damage from unskilled driving would be particularly awful. Fortunately voting CAN be prevented based on age.
