We have donated 2,000+ pounds of flood relief items and medical supplies to Clay County Emergency Management. They were ecstatic to receive the items on Saturday. We are continuing our work in Eastern Kentucky to help rebuild after the flood.

Some of our @uofl nursing faculty members spent part of the weekend visiting hotels where some of the area's homeless were relocated due to the snow and cold weather. The group provided health assessments and dressing supply kits that were donated by @SOSinternationl

Last fall, we worked with John Deng Ater from Nile Orphan Care to provide medical supplies for a pop-up clinic in Juba, South Sudan. John will be in the US next week to plan the construction of a clinic in Juba that will provide care for his community!

Our shipment to Sierra Leone has arrived! The shipment will supply a clinic for adolescent girls and their babies in Kambia, Sierra Leone. We'd like to thank everyone who helped make this shipment as happen as well as our friends in Sierra Leone whose hard work is saving lives!
Thanks to @hendersoncc Nursing Students for volunteering with us and preparing pallets of wound dressings for shipment! Not only did they help us sort supplies, they also took 140 lbs of expired supplies with them for hands-on learning in the classroom!
