SOS instructors are not only passionate about educating the future leaders of the Air and Space Forces. Our faculty are given the autonomy to further develop programs and initiatives they are passionate about.
Maj Daniel Kiser has spent countless hours educating others on neurodiversity beyond Air University. With requirements for innovation and creative problem-solving we must understand the benefits of neurodiversity and what our neurodivergent brothers and sisters bring to the fight
As students and faculty prepare to return from Thanksgiving holiday time, we continue to reflect on all we are thankful for. Of our SOS values we prioritize the student experience, faculty experience, and community engagement among our most important.
Each class we hold what we call "Nutshell Night" to welcome our accompanied students and their families (including their furbabies!) to SOS. We are grateful to be given the opportunity to welcome family able to come support our students while here at SOS!
Earlier this month SOS Academic Affairs Directorate faculty and members of US Space Force Delta 13 toured the Inter-European Air Forces Academy to foster relationships and audit curriculum.
We met with students from across Europe, toured the Maginot Line, and observed their indoor project X facility. They also supported their FLEX operations and took multiple lessons learned for both the future of the USSF Captain's Career Course and SOS proper.
Over the course of the first week of class 22F, the Tigers have maximized their time building relationships in their flights, knocking out the Team Building Exercise, getting out in the community, celebrating birthdays, and learning about themselves as part of a team.
From the Team Building Exercise, time spent in the classroom, hitting the range, stepping out into the community to focus on some of the history of the area, as well as a number of other opportunities, the #TigerSquadron is #outforblood!
Not only do we educate the future leaders of the Air and Space Forces at SOS, but we value investing in our faculty!
At SOS we believe the student experience and quality of instruction are directly related to the competence and education of our faculty.

Not only are our faculty given the opportunity to attend courses from well-respected institutions both virtually and in-residence, faculty convergence weeks are planned to develop our staff even further.
