La totalité de ma prime de qualification pour la Coupe du Monde 2026 a été reversée, jusqu’au dernier centime, à un projet consacré à l’éducation en Haïti. Ce projet n’est plus une simple idée ou une promesse : il est déjà lancé sur le terrain, et j’aurai l’honneur de vous le présenter dans les prochains jours.

Every last cent of my 2026 World Cup qualification bonus has been donated to a project dedicated to education in Haiti. This project is no longer simply an idea or a promise: it is already underway on the ground, and I will have the honor of presenting it to you in the coming days.

Je ne fais pas cette annonce pour recevoir des félicitations, mais pour montrer qu’il est possible d’agir concrètement. Je souhaite surtout adresser un message à toutes celles et ceux qui ont la capacité d’aider, en Haïti comme à l’étranger, et particulièrement à notre diaspora : n’ayons pas peur d’investir dans notre propre pays, dans notre jeunesse et dans notre avenir.

I am not making this announcement to receive praise, but to show that concrete action is possible. Above all, I want to send a message to everyone who has the ability to help, whether in Haiti or abroad, and especially to our diaspora: let us not be afraid to invest in our own country, in our youth, and in our future.

Nous ne pourrons peut-être pas tout changer individuellement. Mais si chacun apporte sa pierre, selon ses moyens, nous pouvons construire quelque chose de bien plus grand que nous. Le changement que nous attendons pour Haïti doit aussi commencer par nous.

We may not be able to change everything individually. But if each of us contributes in whatever way we can, together we can build something far greater than ourselves. The change we hope to see in Haiti must also begin with us.
