Time for @LabourSatvir to come clean - was she lying when she said this just a few months back: https://t.co/1avLhwYMfE - or just incompetent, despite the internal and external reports spelling it out? @dailyecho
Southampton Council publicly confirms that is has requested Exceptional Financial Support. If the Government doesn't grant that request "a Section 114 Notice will be necessary".
Labour's part time Park and Ride plans: https://t.co/dnLAIM7Ujt - We need to get Southampton moving, not grind it to a halt, like this anti-motorist Labour Council seem determined to do!
@MrsMurphySoton @DanFitzhenry This is one of the reasons why we have been doing this: https://t.co/ESft44I7Wy - appreciate some may not welcome, but a number of serious safeguarding issues, like the link, have only been identified because of doing this.
@alanwhiteheadmp@BBCr4today You can't say I haven't repeatedly been raising concerns over the Labour Council's own energy company - the full scandal laid bare here: https://t.co/jW7BTU38OI - why so silent on this?
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

@SouthamptonCC Another dreadful decision from our anti-motorist, Southampton Labour run Council. Local Conservatives call for free parking to support jobs and businesses - Labour introduce new charges for our most vulnerable Blue badge holders in an attempt to move them on from their visits...
Are you joking? This thread is around exactly the type of active travel measures we've been saying should be progressed - instead of Labour's idealistic, anti-motorist attacks on our main arterial routes, to force people out of their cars by increasing journey times(congestion)!
Not hybrid or alternative fuel technology, not zero emission fully electric technology - more diesel engines. Labour could be doing more if they were serious about cutting pollution as quickly as possible... a case of do as we say, not as we do #LeadByExample
It doesn’t sound like any discussion was had with organisers before this decision was taken. If this is the case it’s another example of the contempt with which Southampton City Council holds businesses.
Bitterly disappointed with the eleventh hour decision by @SouthamptonCC to cancel tomorrow’s boat shows. These events were critical to Southampton’s economy and recovery. Southampton City Council has serious questions to answer. @SotonBoatShow@OceanVillageUK
Our Labour run Council needs to explain their last minute decision to cancel the outdoor boatshow here in Southampton, fully sharing the evidence to back up their thinking. https://t.co/1mCb5pv1MM
In FCDO Qs today, @Royston_Smith asked Middle East Minister @JamesCleverly what conversations he has had with Gulf counterparts to help Lebanon recover following last month's blast in Beirut, as well as raising concerns about funding going to Hezbollah.
Whilst Southampton faces a jobs crisis the Labour Council are more interested in penalizing motorists than seriously trying to protect residents livelihoods. https://t.co/ScJNZqzCAC
