Yoongi gets off of Jungkook and the pair smile at each other.

“Good call on the sweater change.” Yoongi smirks and Jungkook folds his arms jokingly proud. “You haven’t finished yours.” he points to Jungkook’s canvas and he turns to look at the back of the canvas.

The two of them clean up together, getting paint off their faces after packing everything away, giggling at each other at the mess they made of each other. When cleaning, Jungkook looks at his arms briefly.

Maybe he doesn’t need a soulmate when he has Yoongi...

“I’m right, you’re evil.” Yoongi taunts him and he doesn’t realise his head is in Jungkook’s lap until he is looking up upside down, out of breath a little. There’s a brief silence between them but they ironically clear their throats at the same time.

The latter laughs heavily from the action, asking for mercy and Jungkook doesn’t grant it to him until he feels paint across his face that’s hiding his blushing face when their faces touched.

Yoongi paints another part of his face again and he quickly tries to get up to escape but Jungkook gets him just in time, rubbing the current wet paint from his face to Yoongi’s before dipping his fingers into the paints and guiding them across the elder’s face.

The giggles make Jungkook’s body heat up and he tuts at the other, using his own paintbrush to stroke Yoongi’s own cheek.

“You got something too.” And Yoongi looks scandalised, eyes comically wide.

“You started it.” Jungkook declares with a smirk.

Outside is being nosy, the light suddenly brighter within.

“You have something on your face.” Yoongi speaks and Jungkook raises a confused eyebrow.

“Where?” wanting to get it off him when a sudden pain brush strokes against his cheek.

“There.” the elder giggles.

He goes on Spotify on his phone abs selects one of his upbeat playlists to play in the background and Yoongi observes the colours of acrylic, distracted by the amount. Jungkook looks at him with fond eyes before looking at his sweater.

“W-what?” Yoongi’s cheeks get even redder, the natural light of outside pouring a little on his face to emphasise the heat.

“Nothing.” Jungkook smiles fondly and Yoongi rolls his eyes - no malice behind the action. The pair continue to look at each other.

They both look at the shades of blue for the sky background and grey for clouds with a lifeline in the middle painted white. Yoongi grins at his artwork and Jungkook is smiling at /him/. When Yoongi turns to face Jungkook, he blushes deeply when he sees he was being looked at.

Yoongi waves him over to his side and Jungkook moves, sitting next to Yoongi and releases an impressed whistle. “Were you an artist in your past life?” Jungkook teases and Yoongi elbows his arm softly. “No but seriously, it’s great.”

It isn’t long til Yoongi finishes his painting and he can’t complain: it doesn’t look so bad. With a proud hum escaping him, Jungkook looks over at him and realises he finished. “Let me see!” The younger enthusiastically demands.

“We just...haven’t tried to reach out to each other, is all.” He explains, working on his painting at the same time and Yoongi hums out his response. It’s not like he’s lying anymore, his soulmate hasn’t tried to reach to him for almost a week now.

The music is what is filling the silence as they both seem to be into what they’re doing. After a good 5 minutes go by, Yoongi starts to speak. “Is there a reason you haven’t spoken to /your/ soulmate?” and Jungkook looks over at him with his bottom lip tugged under his teeth.

The two set up their equipment - having Jungkook quickly get two cups of water for their brushes. Once he’s settled back down, the pair get started; not thinking too much on it and just start mixing colours they see fit.

“What do you plan to paint?” the question makes the older think for a second but shrugs.

“Just gonna go with the flow honestly.” Yoongi shrugs once more so Jungkook grins at but nods. “What about you?”

“I’ll do the same as you.”
