@SaltagreppoD2 My 3080 would experience crashes at around the 6 hour mark in D2 up until Final Shape. Now it’s about 8 hours. Since it seems to be happening in Marathon (I don’t have access as of now, so I can’t verify myself), this seems to be a general issue with the Tiger engine.
@TheGadgetFreakk@KushFogg@SaltagreppoD2 Nah it happens on 30 series. Around the 8 hour mark for my 3080, though that’s a bit better than the 6 hours it was a few months ago.
Well, VoG got its weapons updated, giving them an origin trait and making them enhanceable. I suppose it’s time I retire the old lead slinger. @DestinyTheGame#destiny2
If the year shapes up like I hope it will, I will have two projects going out to Black Rock in September with the aim of breaking 100,000 feet.
One is a group project, utilizing a single 3” diameter N motor. The other is a two stage project that has less than 5,120 Ns.
2024 ended, and now 2025 begins. I didn’t do any rocketry resolutions last year so let’s put a goal out for this year. Just one to keep it “simple”.
My resolution is to break 100,000 feet on a single flight.
@Destiny2Team Contest raids (and now Dungeons) are my absolute favorite times in Destiny. Nothing quite like the experience of solving the activity with challenging combat at the same time.
Probably my last (and second) rocket flight of the year. Flew my L3 rocket 'Low & Slow' for it's second flight on an ex M1800 yesterday. Reached a new personal altitude record of 31,245'. Huge thanks to a couple of my friends for making the motor for me.
Just finished up the fin can for my primary BALLS project. One of my co-workers offered to laser engrave the name onto it. So here’s the obscure reference you didn’t know you needed today

Been working the past few weeks on getting ready for BALLS 32. Primary project is a Loki M1378 min diameter. Also bringing along Low & Slow for another flight. And lastly will be a J510 min diameter project that I meant to bring last year, but wasn’t ready in time
