Hey, #Hockey fam! For those that follow along, I have begun posting book reviews! It's the off-season and if you're looking for something to read check this out! https://t.co/iBKoLW77C2
@thisbrokenmusic@SeattleKraken The 12U announcement came only after the fact. To be clear this is my axe to grind, not @WWFHA or their board. I hope that female hockey flourishes under them. But some of us that fought for them feel used and thrown out. This should have been a partnership not a slow death.
A year after featuring our organization as they had at launch, team announcement, they begin the process of forcing us out to make room for boys AAA. It's always the same girls and sports are the last priority. @SeattleKraken I hoped you were different. https://t.co/ijzKkUnR3W
Incredibly honored and humbled to feature in a @SeattleKraken article about ou @WWFHA Learn toPlay program! Itโs not everyday that you are featured in an @NHL .com article!!!
So here is the IG post regarding the Kraken forcing our 12U Rec team off of the ice. We suffered a 60% cut at โฆ@KrakenIceplexโฉ and our 12 U rec players are forced to other organizations due to limited resources. Eg ice https://t.co/Mh9sxDgB26

time cut we wonโt be able to provide for them and the Kraken are not icing a program. This also stings because it comes on the heels of the Kraken releasing a PR message touting their growth of the game the same day we got the message below. I wanted to reach out to youallas (3)
forced off of the ice. I reach out to you all to spread the word. Our 8-12U girls nearly all of which went through our Lean to Play were featured between periods at the Kraken Women in Hockey night. Those same young women will be left without a program next year, a 60% ice (2)
All, I have been a board member, coach, parent for

for the past 8 years. Our teams, players, parents, and board lobbied the Seattle City Council to sell the importance of the Kraken coming to Seattle for youth hockey. We share their practice facilities and are now (1)
