@AmberValleyInfo@IanJBelper Hi Ian, Our Belper Mills first public engagement meeting was a resounding success. As one of the founding members I’ve been pushing hydro power as a key factor in the development of the site. I came on your water power tour on May 1st which was amazing. DM me 🙂
These water turbines can create renewable energy 24 days a year, 7 days a week. Designed not to block the natural flow of the river means its environmental impact is minimal.
We have so many solutions. Implement them. #ActOnClimate#ClimateCrisis#ClimateAction#climate#energy
@10DowningStreet@hmtreasury How easy and practical would it be to used the local weirs network for hydropower, one big asset we have in the UK is rainfall time to look at projects like Torrs Hydro when you look at the numbers of weirs in the country it might be cheaper, cleaner and quicker than nuclear power
@matthewmontague@Chevin_homes A world heritage site and one of the Strutts Mill sites! That’s a great honour indeed. As a resident of Milford I’m looking forward to seeing the plans.
Please convince your employers that after this whole thing has blown over what you all need is a bloody good party. Get them to book a venue and have a bloody good time
The events industry is taking an absolute hammering at the moment get the idea seeded now #events#eventprofs
