@kirkneverdied Anyone who thinks an opinion on The Marvels is the litmus test for whether you've seen enough movies & your opinion matters seriously needs to... watch more movies.
Also I low-key (Loki?) despise the "if you don't like X, then you can't be trusted!!" mentality.
The fact there are so many responds with a Nolan movie to this is kinda depressing, honestly.
Oh, and my answer would probably be "Men" (2022). A muddled attempt at commentary that's too cerebral for its own good.
@kirkneverdied It's a bizarre, dreamlike nightmare of a masterpiece, though.
Initial viewing completely throws you for a loop, but repeat viewings do clear up part of the narrative. I also appreciate how Lynch never gave an explanation for this one and just said "let the audience decide".
@DWLundberg If they guess correctly when the cops enter the cell and say "this ones hurt! Bring a medic!" (or the like) but don't actually *show* said wounded cop... then that's fair.
If they guess correctly WAY before hand... yeah, that's kinda troubling. 🤨😬
Latest #soundtrack review takes a look back to a mid-90's thriller featuring Denzel Washington and Gene Hackman, #CrimsonTide (1995). Music by #HansZimmer (The Dark Knight, The Lion King, Gladiator, Interstellar, Dune (2021) ).
Enjoy!

@GMANofMysteroid With the "additional music" from Christopher Young's "Def-Con 4" added into the New World Pictures cut, I've always wanted Young to score a G-film.
Oh, and yes. Return of Godzilla is the right answer here.
Latest #soundtrack review takes a look at the new #horror film, #thewomanintheyard (2025). Music by Lorne Balfe (Black Widow, D&D: Honor Amongst Thieves, M:I- Fallout, 13 Hours).

I know Disney/Marvel are wanting the retweets, etc. for this but... what a poorly conceived "announcement". A 5 hour (yes) vid with cast names on chairs and generic droning ambiance.
No, the MCU does not respect you, dear viewer.
Latest #soundtrack review takes a quick look at the new #pokemon short film, "Dragonite and the Special Delivery" (2025). Music by Evan Call (Violet Evergarden, Frieren: Beyond Journey's End).

@kirkneverdied I'll just say this: after seeing the film with friends I was the only one who liked it. Heck, it's probably my favorite post-Endgame MCU flick*.
*that I've seen.
