I was in a Discord group with someone who would say “Ripping a Blinkin Park off my Chester Pennington” every day. Reading that shit so frequently genuinely did something to my brain. I got halfway through this tweet before realizing I read it as Chester Pennington.
@Superguy551 Similarly, an argument could be made in the same vein for Pokemon. "Why buy Sword or Shield? We all know Gun is coming!" But then randomly the franchise did away with that tradition so anyone operating under that thought process either missed out or just played the game late.
@Superguy551 I feel like that's the same as saying "Should I buy the PS5? We all know they're gonna make a PS6"
Like I fully understand the point you're making, but I think that it's potentially a reductive way of thinking.
@sarasalamii I’d be inclined to agree, but I know that there are people in our generation guilty of this too. I feel like some mfs just don’t understand how to have friends anymore. It’s like they need to get some kind of value out of the other person in order for them to justify interacting.
if you don’t understand the lost finale where they explicitly explain it to you then you can’t be helped. anyway happy anniversary to one of the best finales of all time
For YEARS I wanted nothing more than for @CMPunk to come back to wrestling, and now that he is the upper management is doing everything in their power to make me stop caring about the product all together.
I feel like shadow would be better utilized off world. Sonic kinda has the corner market on being the hero of Earth. Let Shadow explore different planets and dimensions. Only coming back to reunite with Sonic when their motives align, or better yet, when they’re opposed.
