Emphasis Weighting Bug Fix
We identified and resolved a bug related to emphasis values between 0 and 1, which made some elements overwhelmingly powerful. After this fix, tag mixing should be much better. In practice, this means that your prompts will need some tweaking if it used emphases between 0 and 1, and generated images will be different as well.

Furthermore, this fix is not intended to replicate the behavior of v4.5; v5 is still a different model with a completely different prompt understanding and behavior. However, it should be more intuitive now.

Please be aware that settings, tags, and the strengthening or weakening behavior of prompts change greatly between model versions, as well as between the full and curated models.

Please do not expect to go from an old model directly to a new one with a prompt optimized for a previous model without needing a few adjustments and tweaks.

Tips:
- You may need to adjust the strength or weakness settings, or even just reorder sections of your prompt and it's tags, to get closer to your old results.
- Trying different samplers and settings can also help.
Media tags and year tags can also greatly influence your outcomes and bring things closer to what you are used to or they may bring you newer and better results.
- Find your generations a little too simple, or too busy? The new tags “low complexity”, “medium complexity”, “high complexity”, “ultra complexity”  can fix this.

We know this can feel like a frustrating start, but we truly appreciate your patience.

Once you give it a try, you will quickly harness all the fantastic new strengths of the new NovelAI Diffusion V5 model.

@sloppyowl It's a lotta adjusting for sure. You really have to do a ton of strength changes, but even then there is the model change too. I think it likes making gens much sharper
