The actions of the police over the weekend have concerned our members. There have been over 100 people arrested for holding a placard. In Liverpool 4 people were arrested.

2/3 One of those was a 74 year old woman who is now virtually under house arrest for 3 months.

We are in danger of losing our right to protest. These rights are enshrined in articles 10 and 11 of EHCR.

The @LIndependents and @SouthportComInd councillors joined today's @LivvHousing strike march for a living wage this morning.

Next time let's see more representation from Labour and the Greens please.

We joined @LIndependents this morning at the @LivvHousing dispute. Housing associations have managed to turn social housing into a nightmare with workers exploited at one end and tenants under serviced at the other. This strike shows how broken our social housing system is.
