Everyone in Vancouver is wearing the same jersey.
This week, partners from all levels of government, the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations, MLS, PavCo, and the club came together with one shared goal: securing the long-term future of the Whitecaps in Vancouver.
We’re keeping the momentum going.
Full statement below:
Gareth Wheeler has left out a lot of stuff from this presser:

Vancouver Whitecaps supporters are fighting for the existence of their club.
A consortium based in Las Vegas have table a bid to buy the Whitecaps, with a plan to relocate them to Vegas.
If this happens, the Whitecaps will cease to exist. Sadly, the MLS franchise system allows this to happen.
But that doesn't mean it should. Fans voices should be heard ahead of corporate greed.
Share this post and if you're able, offer support to the Save the Caps campaign. Any help you can give them is appreciated.
